I recently traded in an iPhone 14 at the Verizon store in Hazlehurst, Ga. The associate that check me out was Cayley. I was quoted around 200-215 on my upcoming bill to do the trade in that day (June 18). Cayley told me because it was getting late that she would put in my trade in and that I could go ahead leave the store and take the iPhone 15 pro max home. Everything would be taken care of. She gave me her personal number and told me that she would text me to confirm.
Two days later I texted Cayley to see if there were issues. She did not reply but read the message. I was working out of town so I did not have time to return to the store that day. This was on June 20.
I trusted the things she told me and reasoned that it would be worked out until I got back to Hazlehurst. On July 10th my wife let me know our bill had doubled. We had unexpected subscriptions, a substantial increase, and were paying full price with no trade in. I will attach the quote.
I came into the store on July 12th and Cayley apologized. She gave me a story about how she didn’t know why Verizon hadn’t applied the credit and that it could take time. I was skeptical. I decided to trust her because Verizon has never attempted to completely steal a paid off phone from me on a trade in. I repeated to her that I was not comfortable with this as it was already nearing a month and there had been no changes to my account. Cayley was not acting in good faith and representing the company honestly. Certainly not to the extent of completing a routine task like a trade in. She told me that it would be handled no problem and my bill wouldn’t be 430+. Please pull the cameras on these days. I left the store with the understanding that it would be fixed and it was on Verizon not her as an employee.
Yes, I had my iPhone 14 paid off in cash a few months earlier (Cayley took that payment very quickly).
Today is the 26th of July. I get a message from the bank that a payment had been denied. Verizon attempted to auto draft a huge amount of money from my account. I turned my card off the night before when I saw the payment pending. I texted Cayley at 7:49 AM. She assured me that she would get that fixed as soon as she came into work. She didn’t text me back until 4:05 pm which happened to be the exact moment that I walked into
The Hazlehurst location. I came into the store to get the issue fixed once again. This time Lauren was here. Cayley was attempting to enter my account in the baxley store. Cayley then begin lying to me. Texts attached. She said several lies and thankfully Lauren was able to tell me there was no trade in credit applied. Cayley told me otherwise. Cayley actually told me that my bill was 298 and once I signed up for autopay it would go back down. Lauren said no you are already signed up for autopay but since you have it paused temporarily, it’s showing that your bill will be 338. And she also said that once I resume autopay it’ll save me 50 dollars which will make it 288 which is still almost 80 dollars more than what she quoted me.
These lies are making me loose faith in the company. I feel like my phone was stolen from me and I was completely mislead into thinking I was getting a great deal when in fact I was getting ripped off.
I need this fixed ASAP. I was lied to by an employee (Cayley) several times. My bill was supposed to come out lower the day I got this iPhone 15 and today it is nearly double. My wife and I are setting up a promise to pay for Wednesday the 31st (so our lines don’t get turned off for nonpayment) in hopes that this will all be taken care of and fixed.
I just want my old phone back at this point so I can use an honest company. Can you please reach out to as soon as possible?

I am beyond upset with the girl caley who works there! I went up there to get internet for my house and she sold me the home internet and told me my first 2 bills would be free and my bill will only be $45 a month. I just got my first bill and it’s $203.27!!! And it says I have an iPhone and some home protect thing but I didn’t get anything but the internet!! I am so furious!!

Today at 2:03 I walked into the Verizon store in Hazlehurst Ga., where I met Hali and Lauren. I explained my issues that have been rocking on since oct of last year to them and they immediately started working on a resolution. Both of them were very polite, helpful and patient as I explained. They both reviwed my account and notes aswell as my pages and pages of hand written notes. They both went above and beyond to help me resolve this matter that started in the Baxley store and was impounded with Verizon customer service along the way. A big thanks to them and area manager Chad for exhausting everything possible to correct my account!!

We went to get our phones upgraded since we were getting promotions from the site. Kaylee said the phones we wanted were covered under promotions and all we had to pay were the phone taxes. Come to find out. The phones weren't covered. We are now stuck paying an extra 60$ on our bill, pay for these phones for over the next 36months, and had to upgrade our plans to get the phone she ordered wrong. The other women were very helpful and tried to fix the dumpster fire that was caused.

Loren and Brandie are the best! They took their time and made sure I was taken care of. Very eager and ready to assist me ever time I walk through the door. This is the only store I will come too and even my boyfriend comes all the way from LaGrange to see Loren cause she is very knowledgeable, kind, and has always taken care of any of my concerns.

I usually hate going to the Verizon store but Carlo was wonderful. He was so courteous and patient. He went above and beyond helping me figure out how to manage my son’s phone. I wish all employees were as helpful as Carlo.

This place is a joke they open when they want and then you order stuff and go in to pick it up and they have know idea of anything. You wait hours to talk to them. I will drive 30 minutes away to go get better service. Ohh and when you walk in there like I will be with in 2 hrs if their is someone waiting rude is all I can say
