“I live in Cochran but food lion in Hawkinsville is my go to store, their meat is way better than Walmart's, their employees are always friendly and several of them have been there for years and years. I love that there are no self check outs and if you sign up with your phone number you get major discounts. I'm from hawkinsville and I love the small town feel big time service that food lion offers! I highly recommend shopping here over walmart or food depot ANY DAY.”
“Spent the past few days playing Farkle with my Mama-in-Law. My daughter and I wanted to find dice before we made it to our destination. The woman working was nice enough to leave the register to find the dice which had actually been discontinued. We got 4 packs at $1 each. Customer service was on point! Best service I have ever received at Dollar General. 5 Stars!!!”

“They have gotten a couple more employees but they need to train the new employees better because I’ve been in the store twice now and the new guy couldn’t run the register correctly so I had to go to a different store to buy what I needed because he didn’t know how to ring up certain products.”

“Stopped here for the first time. I prefer locally owned stores over chain stores. The store was clean and well stocked. The bacon looked old and Browning so I stayed away from that. Otherwise everything else looked good. Staff was friendly.”
