Beth is amazing and the best barista ever. I love the salted caramel mocha here, and that they are more than happy to make a coffee free frappuchino for my niece. Excellent customer service and coffee.

Our first trip to Harlem Java House was an absolute blast! From the moment we walked in, the vibes were chill, and the coffee was calling our name. The Flight option? A game-changer! Trying out four different coffee flavors was like going on a flavor adventure. Seriously, if you’re a coffee lover, you gotta give it a shot. And let’s talk about those Croffles, crispy, fluffy, and downright addictive. We couldn’t get enough! But what really made the experience shine was the super welcoming barista. They were like the cherry on top of our coffee-filled day, making us feel right at home. So, if you’re looking for a laid-back spot with killer coffee and vibes, Harlem Java House is where it’s at. Five stars? No doubt about it!

My favorite place and a tiny gem in the heart of Harlem!!! I love the new croffles and the coffee/ flights. It's more of watermelon sugar high! My business partner and I love to visit, over and over again to discuss all things food. #

So cute inside. Adorable employees. Yummy house made cookies. We tried the peanut butter. My coffee drinkers liked the coffee, I had a snickerdoodle latte and it was delish. Quiet atmosphere. Reasonable.

There are a few deep joys in my life. Two of which are coffee and hidden gems in a community. Harlem Java House is that, and far more. But first let me talk about the location. If you don't live in the area and find yourself traveling down I-20 while reading this review, just don't you can be parked and walking in about 10 minutes after getting off the interstate. With comfortable indoor seating, spacious outdoor seating, and yes a restroom why not take the time to unwind and recharge? For the locals, I can hear you now. "But that's allllll the way in Harlem." Listen, we don't hesitate to travel to Atlanta and Columbia and Savannah for a concert or delicious food and good ice cream. Harlem is literally the same distance from Augusta as Aiken. And you don't even have to take the interstate to get there! You'll park, get coffee/latte/Matcha/muffin/pop tart/all of the above and then discover there are more sites to visit. A antique store, ice cream shop, the Laurel and Hardy Museum-Welcome Center, and more. And are you ready for something wild? Next door is a scuba diving shop! Yeah diving gear, classes to become certified, all that. That alone is worth the trip. The coffee and espresso here is furnished by Buona Caffe, hands down one of the top roasters in the region. All pastries are housemade (including those aforementioned pop tarts-they do one with Nutella!). And the team here, always a smile and warm greeting. Always ready with a suggestion if you can't decide what to order or if you're wondering what community events are upcoming. And the ambiance here; it's like if lavender were a coffee shop. Local artists on the wall, other artisans with products such as candles and refillable soap, and then there are the events. Paint and sip is a big one. If you are interested in the space for a evening event, just ask for information. And lastly, the flights and new rewards program. I know, flights are for breweries and bars right? Not any more. Can't decide on what to drink? Then order a sample of four and enjoy them all. And you can still customize each one (i.e. hot or cold, milk choice). Since you'll be returning (I have no doubt of such), be sure to grab a loyalty card. Now once you've hit drink #10, the next one will be free! So yeah, visit soon. Take your time. And think of me as you sip the delicious drink(s) you end up ordering.

The staff is always so friendly, and the atmosphere is always perfect for a hot or iced cup of coffee and a good book! The coffee is also spot on for a coffee snob like me. ?Dietary restrictions: I have to use oat milk and they almost always have that availability.

This is by far my favorite coffee shop and I’m picky! The owners are super nice and the atmosphere is completely perfect. They showcase local artists and have the absolute best coffee (plain or dressed up) around. The quiche is on point too but the coffee is perfecto. It is the kind of place you just want to sit and soak up the good vibes. Highly recommend.
