Derek personally set me up in the system after my old pharmacy, Christian's in FPK, closed. I live a few miles farther south but will drive to Hapeville for the kind of personal service Chapman Drug offers. Thanks for everything! There's a difference between the big box places and a small place where you'll be helped and recognized. That matters.

The Pharmacist is racist and has a terrible attitude. He claims to be "owner" also which is why he treats and talk to people badly.I called him about my 11 year old son important medication that he has to take daily and he told me that had the medicine and when I got I asked questions about his insurance covering it he proceeded to be disrespectful and then he terminated a child services.

Our first time here was amazing, the service was great, the music was good, and the food was even better. Definitely stop by if you're in Hapeville, Ga.

STOP SAYING PEOPLE HAVE attitudes because they are blk/African American or not of the same race. The comment alone is RACIST! No attitude was present, you have a million cameras ROLL THE TAPE! Maybe your lack of understanding sends a message. Clearly you had a chip on your shoulder from the way you're responding to negative reviews! Anyone that Derek Chapman PHR speaks down to would raise an eyebrow especially when you're just as educated if not more than him. Who would allow that kind of tone and behavior. NO attitude was present for your bad service which explains your high turn over rate from an HR perspective. Your staff has already verified your deplorable attitude and racism. Let's see what the board has to say!

The worst place for any minority to patronize. FYI they literally have medicine in the pharmacy that they pick and choose to give it to. My Doctor literally called and inquired if the pharmacy had the product in stock. he did. I walked in to the pharmacy a few days later due to the weekend, the tech started the conversation with “we don’t have this in stock.” she brought it to the pharmacist (Derek Chapman) and he advised they don’t either. I stated that my doctor called prior to me driving over on this side of town and you stated you did I told him the doctors name and he agreed the product was in stock and he would fill the prescription. he proceed to ask more questions and to advise me that I was wrong I should hv said my Dr. called a few days ago which I was kinda taken bk by in addition to the pharmacy tech and other conversation going on about the prescription. Let’s just say a lot was going on with the pharmacy and anyone would be shocked by the activity. In no way did I present myself aggressive, rude, or defensive, the pharmacist stated that I rolled my eyes and to “get out and leave immediately due to my attitude and rolling my eyes.” I was taken back and shocked at the refusal of service for a pain medication I’d never been on and needed due to a major car wreck. I literally stood shocked because I didn’t know what went wrong and I definitely didn’t present myself in that manner. To be black and refused service in 2024 from a white man for something that didn’t occur (eye rolling or attitude) that I didn’t hv nor ever present myself baffles me. You didn’t want to fill the prescription to begin with, Derrick Chapman just looked for a reason as a private pharmacy not to do it, irregardless of how bad I needed it. I’m aware of the episode epidemics however I’ve never needed one or taken one. Again this had nothing to do with ATTITUDE SIMPLY THE COLOR OF MY SKIN. I NEVER RAISED MY VOICE and if he says I rolled my eyes (even though I was in shock of his attitude towards someone (Blk) trying to get help) it’s just a lie. There wasn’t enough conversation for an attitude. If I can’t walk into a pharmacy and be shocked (raise an eyebrow, be in amazement, shocked at poor customer service) because someone (pharmacist & staff are literally LYING about not having specific medication, when they verified and said that they do to a prescribing Dr.) is speaking to me in a manner that I don’t prescribe to, as an educated man and I don’t speak that way to people, then being Blk in America is still valid. I understand the overwhelming response that he must get daily, I run 2 law firms (operations & HR) so I understand, in addition my own company so I again am in agreement with how customers respond and act, and I also know how to handle customers. He literally has cameras all over his pharmacy 6 pointing to the front register and others all over (assuming this is to recognize individuals that come in often) however this was not the case. If that is the case show the video of attitude and rollings eyes (LOL) And if he’s the 3rd generation owner I hope he’s not raising kids to be the 4th. Luckily I know how to report this behavior and put pen to paper. #DiscriminationNow keep in mine this pharmacy is private and as he stated when repeating for me to leave his store, "he makes the rules." I get it, and I follow the law!If you have had the same instance with this pharmacist or pharmacy I can tell you exactly how to report it!Watch whom you try to step on!"Georgia Professional Licensure Complaint"

Always a very pleasant experience. My Aunt and Dad are 89 and 87. The team at Chapman comes to the car to administer the vaccines. They are always prompt and professional. My folks get treated like they were family. Thank You Chapman pharmacy for your excellent service.

Hands down the best pharmacy! Derek and the rest of the Chapman family and staff truly care about you, your health and your family's health. We no longer live in Hapeville but still drive there to get our prescriptions. You won't be disappointed trying this local, family pharmacy!

I have been treated like a part of the family at Chapman's Drugs. From the time you walk in the door until you leave you are made to feel that everyone cares about you. Dr. Chapman and his staff operate in excellence. I have even had Dr. Chapman to call me to discuss and make me aware of an issue with my medication. Rev. Dr. Lugenia Johnson
