I've been going to this location for years. I have no complaints and have never encountered an issue there. It's very neat and the employees are never in the way (stocking) when you're trying to shop like at some other stores.

The most clean Food Depot in Georgia, though it may be a lot of young people working there they hold their store down. The line is never full even during holiday season. They get you in and out. I was very impressed.

If you stick to the sales tags you can save good money.I love the staff they are wonderful at hiring the right ppl they are young but polite and work hard.Big Chris manager I believe bc he had on blue shirt was so helpful and nice I was having a bad day his hospitality was so needed and he delivered. Their meat and produce leave a lot to be desired. The produce always has mold and bugs flying/crawling all over it. The "fresh" meat packaged in the store is clearly not fresh. So I bought a vacuum-sealed ham three days ago, and cooked it the next day. It was clear from the taste that it wasn't as fresh as it should have been. As of yesterday (the day after I cooked it) it is no longer edible. The meat spoiled very quickly, even though it was still within the experation date. It turned an orange color and started giving off a rancid odor, meaning it was improperly stored before it was sold. Food poisoning is no joke, my husband and I are lucky we didn't get sick (or die.) We will no longer be shopping at this location.

From the time this store has open until now I have noticed this location received not the best produce . Lately , it’s been getting worst. The chicken looks horrible(bruised)and I recently purchased Dutch Farm cheese which spoiled before the USED BY date.Last week I bought a pack of Oxtails from this location and had to take them right back to that store because the meat smelled bad already. The SELL BY date October 27 2022. I’m not saying all Food Depot Stores are horrible like this one. But someone needs to really look at the quality of food they are bringing into this store. High prices for poor quality food. Help out community received better food for our families. The store is a very clean store and the employees are nice to the customers. Please look into the quality of the food they send to this location. HELP!!!Just wanted to thank everyone involved in making some changes to this Food Depot location. I see you Lovejoy, Ga.Food Depot ! Please work on stores in other locations like Riverdale Ga. It definitely makes a difference. View the Lovejoy meat department now and the Riverdale location. Big difference!!

On a number of occasions. I of them being today, Tuesday April 26 2022. This store has a gender issue when it comes to men and a book bag verse a woman with any type of bag. I shop at this store everyday for the past 3 months. Some days I leave my bag in the shopping cart area. Just to avoid confrontation with whom ever. As a customer I shouldn't be given 2 chooses when I come to shop. Leave the book bag with my personal items or get out the store. If I have to leave my bag because I think that I may steal. You don't need the police. Just take everyone's bag at the door. Or ask for my bag and no one else. This is America. Discrimination of any type shouldn't go on. To infringe on the Rights Constitutional of one group of people. Compared to the other group because the company thinks that male customers with bookbags are carrying them in the store just to steal. Thereby saying that men steal. Women don't. At this very moment Russian troops are in Ukraine. Killing innocent people who have no Human Right to live.As a tax payerMy tax dollars are being used to help stop the violation of the Rights of the people of Ukraine. Yet I have no equal rights, equal treatment in this store. I will never come back in it. I do surveys for Google. So I have to tell the truth.

I've shopped at this store 10 times in 5 years and it's less than 10 minutes away from my home. They have the nerve to have a restocking fee on all purchases for food that is damaged and cheap anyway. They follow you around the store like your a thief, and they have Lovejoy police at the store at all times. The store is not clean. If you need canned food or something smaller it's ok.
