Last year I took my Toyota here for new brakes. I get a call the next day saying the car was shaking violently and if they could go ahead with repairs, so I had to explain to the mechanic that the car was just fine when I brought it in and that wasn't the reason it was there and they needed to fix whatever they did with it. In the end no-harm, no-foul, but then I brought my Suzuki in...
First it was supposed to be more general maintenance stuff, including servicing the transmission. However, one of the bolts broke off in the transmission pan and they couldn't get a mechanic to re-drill the hole for three days, leaving me without a car over the weekend. I just figured it is what it is. Finally Tuesday comes around they ask me if I want to replace my front brakes, my current total is at ~$700 with all of the other work they did. I say yes. They call me a few hours later and say my total is over $1100. What? First I found out they added an extra part and the total went down to $900. "Oopsie" moment, but then there's no way two brake pads are $200. Well apparently they replaced the rotors without asking me, and looking at the rotors all they needed was to be cleaned because there was a light glazing on them. Silly me I paid for them anyways because it was closing time and I wanted my car back, so I finally get the receipt AFTER I paid and I drive the car home. I get on the freeway and the car starts shaking! I make it home and I'm missing a lug nut, and I look at the receipt and not only did they charge me $40 for rotating the tires and messed it up by forgetting a lug nut, but I had already asked them to check all of my brakes which means they had to take the tires off and put them back on anyways, so effectively I got double charged for that labor and they didn't even do it correctly.
Also, I forgot to add, my engine started smoking when I got home because they didn't clean the oil off of it after doing an oil change. Minor but still was concerning.
As far I'm concerned they owe me $40 and a lug nut, but luckily I had a spare one. Not worth my time to go back and argue with them now though.
Update: They also cross-threaded one of the lug nuts.

Had a screw stuck in the front driver side tire of my 2016 Ford Explorer. They put at patch (NOT plug) on the tire for $37.50 total. Very reasonable price. Very friendly folks, we also talked about issues with my tire pressure readings and possible solutions. They just want to help. Really great crew.

We found this place when our tire exploded on I-20! So glad we did!!!! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The kiddie corner while we waited was an unexpected added bonus. They got us a new tire and fixed part of my bumper in no more than half an hour. Cannot give enough praise.
