Anytime I call and need help the employees are so so kind. I've rarely experienced customer service with so much patience. They fix any problem and are always helpful. I have banked here since 2014 and have my mortgage here as well. When I moved away I changed banks and it was so awful so I came right back to open all my accounts.

This used to be a great bank. The past few years they have fell behind their competitors. I use to like that they were a small town bank but now they treat you like the rest. Just a number. Their apps constantly crashing. I’ve filed multiple disputes in which they never resolve or bother to follow up on with you. So there fraud department is useless now. I’ve switched to Truist and realized what I should be getting from a bank. I’ll be closing my accounts there soon which is a Shane because ulI was there over 20 years.

I’ve been banking at UB for as long as I can remember and I seldom go inside because of the other convenient options. However the last couple of times I’ve gone inside I’ve felt a very different (unwelcoming) feeling. Today I walked in and there were 3 ladies at the counter and one at a desk and no one spoke. I filled out my deposit slip at the little side desk and went to the First Lady at the counter and this woman did not even look up from her computer so the middle older lady in the middle asked could she help me. She was very kind which is the only reason I gave a second star. Seriously UB, do better with customer service.

I had banked with the same bank for many years and had grown more and more dissatisfied with their lack of service and rude treatment. When I moved to Griffin this summer I changed banks. I love the convenience of United's branch locations, the friendly service and ease of doing business locally. Recently, I was over by the Northside Branch and needed to complete some business. Tara Freeman helped me take care of all the things I needed to do. Very professional and knowledgeable and at the same time with a kindness like we had know each other for years, in fact that is what I said to her, I feel like we are old friends. Well, we are new friends now, but hope we will be old friends one day. You just don't realize how important friendly, professional and knowledgeable service is until you've gone without it for a long time!

United Bank is a fantastic community bank! They are family oriented, don't pursue customers outside of our area because they want to service local residents. That is a huge plus for me over the big banks. :-)
