Phenomenal skeet shooting course with a variety of scenic views and interesting holes. The team at Cherokee Rose is half of the reason we’ll keep going back. Good people, good course, good rates, and guaranteed to have a good time. Would highly recommend.

My son and I traveled to the area for a family reunion and decided to shoot at Cherokee Rose. We were met by Jack at the office where we signed in and engaged in SEC football conversation and duck hunting, before setting out. Jack rented us a two man gasoline powered cart that had stands that held two shotguns. Cherokee Rose uses the Promatic system where you insert your "credit card" and pull the birds you want, at each stand, with a wired handheld puller. We shot the easier Rose course. The more difficult one is the Creek course. The gravel trails and all of the roads for that matter were well maintained and easy to navigate. There was lots of signage to keep you on track and not get lost. The course is heavily wooded and even though it was hot outside, there was lots of shade provided by the woods. Ice cold bottled water, was made available to the shooters, in an an ice chest, midway through the course. The course and entire property is in a picturesque setting and is well manicured and maintained. We shot over water, on two of the stands. All of the machines worked well but there was a slight delay. This didn't bother us as we got used to it right away. When we finished the course around noon, Jack sent us to Southern Pit BBQ in Hampton for some really fine eating! Cherokee Rose is first class and we cant wait to return!

Had a great time shooting today at Cherokee Rose! The guys are super friendly and welcoming. Course is beautiful, flawlessly maintained and is like going to a park. Would definitely recommend!

I took my son and his four groomsmen sporting clay shooting at Cherokee Rose. Prior to the trip I had a number of conversations with the staff and was treated very well! It is a beautiful course, spread throughout the woods on this beautiful property. Pricing is reasonable, the selection of apparel and guns are superb. We shot 100 round course which was laid out perfectly, even including iced water at two of the stations! I cannot wait to go back!

Cherokee Rose is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful and incredibly maintained. Dave (owner) was gracious enough to allow me to shoot on a Monday by appointment. I will definitely be coming back to visit soon.

This place is amazing! We went today with my family for a skeet shoot and had a great time! The entire facility was super clean and everything was beautiful! The course was shady and it definitely helped taking the golf carts they have! The staff was friendly and helpful and helped make our day fun!

This place is gorgeous! My husband and I went this past weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. Jack at the check-in desk was more than helpful and the bathrooms were very clean and actually had nice decor. I felt like I was on a hike the whole time because it's very wooded and there's a couple of small ponds you can shoot over.

Amazing experience for my first time ever with sporting clays. I had a lesson with Quinn, and the guy is super knowledgeable and a great teacher. He explains everything so well without being condescending. He is good at evaluating your shooting to determine what modifications you can make to increase your accuracy. He also clearly explains the mechanics of shotguns and ammo so that you can understand what you are using and what you might want to buy. This place is almost two hours away from me, but it is totally worth the drive. Gorgeous facility, friendly staff, and just an awesome all-around experience.

Everything here is top notch. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The courses and facilities are very well maintained. The target setups have been varied and fun every time I have visited. They host a lot of tournaments on weekends that are a great way to spend a Saturday, even if you are a beginner.

The Staff and Sporting Clay Courses are one of the best in the country. My youth athletes enjoy the varied Target presentations along with a challenging setting.
The owners and staff have a premier facility and always looking for improvements.

My wife and I visited Cherokee Rose Gun Club for the first time 2 weeks ago. We shot the Rose Course and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The A & B Target were great, the C & D were defiantly a step up. Jack at the front desk was very helpful and explained the course in detail. (The new puppy is a great ambassador) We went over to Helice Course and greeted by the owner Dave. Dave assisted me and my wife on how the course worked and the concept behind it. We cannot say enough good things about the staff, the owner, facility and the ambassador. We live in Florida and plan to vacation the area frequently and this will be one of our MUST STOPS.Thanks for a great time and superior customer service.Rick & Robin
