Overcharged to perform an overview of the vehicle and came back to tell me the repairs needed are the ones I inquired about upon arrival. Waste of time and money.

When I called this place the voice mailbox is full so you can't leave a message. The announcement says to text them instead. So I did. I asked several questions trying to find out how much they would charge to replace a starter on my 2000 Ford Explorer Automatic V-6. Their answer was, "Good morning, $200 on a diagnostics. Then we'll come up with a game plan on how much to repair." So I asked how much to remove the 4 nuts & starter & put the new one I bring them in my car? They said, "Cannot make any estimates until we know exactly what the issues are." So I asked what their hourly labor rate is? And they said, "we work by the job!" Then I said, "Ok then could you please tell me how much to replace a starter, please?" So they never responded. I just don't know why they couldn't give me a ball park price on a specific repair without needing to ask the same question over & over in different ways. It makes me feel like they have something to hide when they can't give you an estimated cost up front. I would not recommend them if you are wanting straight answers to simple questions.

Chris love to steal money from people. He charged me 250 for a Diagnostic Stating that the car will be back to factory settings And that the problem would go away. The car is still the same way as I brought it in. I don't recommend Griffin import service.

THE SERVICE OF A BMW DEALERSHIP - IN GRIFFIN ! I need to set the record straight for all of these less then 5 star reviews. I have never been to this location and it was recommended by another repair shop in the area that could not diagnose my BMW. So this car has been the absolute best car I have ever owned but it has also been the most expensive - it will also be the last German car that I will ever purchase - EVER!! So the diagnostic fee was $250. I was informed (very professionally) - the deposit or diag fee does not apply to repairs. I thought that was completely reasonable. Another large and long standing repair shop here in Griffin did not have the computer equipment or the experience to begin to tackle this problem. It was discovered that the main computer had a fault and needed to be replaced. I was also told it would be covered by a 2 year warranty (I was pleasantly surprised). I was also told that it would cost about $2,200. Not that I did not trust Griffin Imports but you know - I called the BMW dealership in Macon now that I knew what the problem was. The dealership in Macon wanted almost double the cost to make this repair. I am very thankful for GRIFFIN IMPORTS - IN GRIFFIN that saved me money and the hassle of taking this car to a dealer in Macon and completed the repair flawlessly with a warranty. For those of you low star folks - highly skilled - high tech repairs are expensive. If you have a car worth investing in - especially a not so common import - this is the place !!!Services: Electrical repair

I've read a few reviews that said fair priced! I disagree! First they charge $150 for the diag which is more than the dealership, then they over quoted the repair. I told them I needed a new valve cover gasket. A week later he tells me it'll be $1,580.00 to reseal the valve covers. Most owners I've talked to since have had the same repair done between $400 and $700. He probably does good work but I will never know at that price.A week after picking the vehicle up, I popped the hood and torque the valve cover bolts (a couple were loose) and NO MORE LEAK! So this joker was gonna charge me over $1500 for something that took me 10 minutes to fix myself.Furthermore, a few days after picking up the vehicle my ABS light comes on. Never had a problem with the abs until they touched my car!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Most likely the best shop in griffin they'll fix almost any car for reasonable price.And in an appropriate time period My volvo 2000's has been up there twice now and they never let me down everytime. Shout out to Chris specifically he does some great work definitely recommend for anyone. Sincerely The Jr!

I recently took my 323 for repairs because my engine light was on and I needed to pass emissions. I was very impressed with the professionalism, quality of work, and reasonable upfront pricing I received. They quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me multiple options for repair.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would do not go to this business!!!!!!!! Took my car in Monday for diagnostic paid 200 it is now Thursday and every time I call he either doesn’t answer or says he’ll call back!!!!! I still don’t know what is wrong with my car!!!!!! Notice the only decent ratings r 1 sentence ratings!!!!!!

My 525i left me on the side of the road. Called griffin import for a tow and find out what it was going to take to fix it. I went to work got a call from Chris a few hours later, my alternator was over charging and took out my battery and my computer. I bought a battery, had Chris put the new alternator and computer in the car. I have never had a problem since. Great shop, great guys. Thanks Chris.Service: Electrical
