I bought two manual recliners one end table one lamp on September 1, 2023 here it is September 28 I received my chairs, and my one end table never received my lamp. I called to tell them that one of my chairs are messed up and that my table is messed up. They informed me that they will make an appointment for my chair to be fixed, but my table was a floor model. It was on clearance, but I was never told that never seen a clearance tag now they will not replace my table. My lamp that I paid for. I was not told at the time was on order but I called and the lamp is at their store. They have not delivered it like they said they would it’s like after they get your money you’re no concern to them they would rather not deal with you after you buy your furniture. I even paid $300 extra for insurance on my furniture and they will not fix my table or replace it. I wouldn’t go to Badcock if someone paid me too I wish I would have read reviews before I went because I see lots of people have the same type problems. Badcock sucks.

I just don't have success trying to do business with Badcock. This was the second time, and second location that fell through. First time was at the store in Thomaston.In this location, we had two chairs bought. One was not in stock, so it had to be ordered, (typical nowadays - retail prices but have to wait on the merchandise). The other chair was in stock and a closeout so I was told I could take it with me. They did not have any materials to cover the chair, no plastic or anything. I was not going to haul a new chair open air for 22 miles. Then, they wanted full payment, up front, to order the other chair. It got too complicated, so I canceled the transaction. Second time of disappointment dealing with Badcock, so I won't even consider them in the future. Salesperson was nice and provided good service; it was not her fault at all. It's the policies, not the people.

We have been purchasing furniture from the Griffin store for 20+ years. This trip we needed quite a lot of furniture and Ashley was so helpful and knowledgeable. She listened to what we needed and assisted us in finding all that we needed!

Since visiting the store 5 yrs ago, I have had nothing but wonderful help with the staff. The store manager is absolutely the best. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this store with pride.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company as a whole is terrible. The customer service is a joke. The people who work there are a joke. No one knows anything until you show money. I would NEVER recommend this company. Ever.To the "owner", There is nothing you can do. I have been back and forth with your "business for months. I wish I could get my money back and go elsewhere.

I have always had positive interactions with Badcock. I order my very first sofa from them when I moved out on my own with my son back in 2000…. Nothing but grade A customer service!

This is the worse furniture company I EVER dealt with!!!!! It took 3 months to get our bedroom furniture. They still left out one of the pieces. On top of that paid for delivery fees and my husband had to go and load the furniture on his truck because one of their workers didn’t come to work. To top it off, didn’t want to come back to take out dresser upstairs saying it was too big to go upstairs!!! I don’t recommend this company to anyone!!!! STAY AWAY, the will rip you off!!!

Don't do it!!!! I was hesitant because of some of the local FB posts, but Jaycee at the store said that they had been resolved. I should have listed to the posters! We ordered our living room set at the beginning of March, and received it on March 11th. We noticed that one of the recliners didn't work. It didn't even have resistance. Was told the drivers would be back out, that they probably forgot to unlock the recliner from opening during transport. Because of things that the store couldn't control, they weren't able to make it the next day, or the day after. The problem is they didn't call to let us know that! We would find out when we called the next day, each time! Finally, Ashley (the store manager) said that "since we were having so much trouble", (which meant they were having trouble getting somebody to come to our house which is just a mile away from them), they were going to ask corporate to replace the bottom piece. Again, no call back to give us an update.... when we do call them back, we're told by Makayla it was approved. At this point, I'm frustrated at the fact that something that wasn't done right to begin with, is causing more time to have our couch fully functional. Fast forward, we got the "new" bottom piece only to notice the other side was not working. This time, we knew from the way it was acting, that it was broken. Call the store again and Jaycee tells us she will need to get in contact first with the delivery drivers. Of course, no call back. We call back the next day only for Jaycee to tell us, "I don't know what to tell you as when the original part got back to the store, it was working...." This tells me that if they'd came back the first time, it would've saved this major headache. Not only this, she didn't sound like she believed that our new part didn't work. After conversing back and forth, she agreed to have someone come out and look at it. They would call us when it was scheduled. At this point, we just contacted corporate and explained ourselves. They told us that an appointment had been made, and were surprised the store hadn't told us (we weren't). On April 15th, one month and almost a week after our initial delivery, a guy came out and fixed the bent track underneath. When we told them about the issues with our first piece, he immediately said that they probably didn't have a cable underneath connected. Corporate was awesome, the guy who fixed our couch was even better, we are loving our set. The store employees however, (Ashley, Makiyah, and Jaycee) need to take a class on customer service. Things will happen, we understand that, but that shouldn't make you neglect to keep customers updated, or act like they don't have valid complaints. This whole mess has made me hope that we NEVER have to buy new furniture again. If we do, if will definitely NOT be from the Badcock in Griffin! You have been warned...

If you purchase the insurance with your product, please be prepared to get the run around. It’s been almost 2 months if not longer since I filed a claim. The technician rescheduled twice. The customer service wasn’t rude in the beginning. They were polite about not giving accurate information. I received a post card instructing me to call the store to complete the claim only for them to tell me it was canceled. That led me to call another 800 # that said it wasn’t on them, that led me back to the store. Then they told me they didn’t know ?♀️. That led me to another 800 #, to get a representative that had the audacity to sound irritated ?. Really? If anyone should be irritated it definitely should be me (which I was). The representative at the customer call center showed no empathy at all and came back to the phone with an attitude after contacting the local store. Henry Badcock said that his vision was always to treat people right. I guess that was just his vision. Horrible experience and I would never recommend ANYONE to purchase the insurance if they expect speedy or courteous service.
