Our photo and video team worked a wedding here and enjoyed it very much. The staff was easy to work with on the day of and the outdoor photo locations are not only beautiful but the indoor reception space is also captivating on camera.

This is an extremely nice Ritz Carlton. It is not cheap. However, the staff is absolutely amazing. Friendly, helpful, always close by to assist as needed. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and immaculate. I would recommend they put more outdoor lighting their sidewalks. when you are walking at night there’s not enough light for the sidewalks and it is dark out there! Beautiful place, grateful relaxation. We were there for a wedding and it was done beautifully.
Rooms: Very comfortable beds. All amenities that you woul need. Excellent cleaning services.
Food and drinks: Excellent food and drinks. No complaints.

From the moment we arrived, we could not have felt more welcomed and attended to throughout our entire stay. Every single staff member we encountered was amazing, positive, and always willing to lend a hand. The Ritz Carlton way is truly an experience that makes the quality of the guests stay that much more amazing. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. The property itself was breathtaking. The quality of the food was absolutely amazing from grab and go to dine in options to room service. It all was great. I have nothing but great things to say. The little derails were amazing. We had turn down service and noted they left me a bookmark when I was using a scrap piece of paper for my book, a lens cleaner for our sun glasses and also set the mood of the room perfect for settling down for the day. I previously would not have budgeted for a Ritz Carlton vacation, but can definitely foresee myself doing that in the future as they exceeded my expectations for service and made my quick weekend business trip feel like I was away for personal reasons.
Walkability: Very hilly but has great trails and paved paths.

The hotel and room were amazing. The staff were very accommodating. The room was very well prepared as was the delightful alcove patio complete with gas fire. We sampled as many amenities as we could and yet there were more to indulge. We will be back often.

The resort grounds were amazing! Perfectly situated on the lake. This was a long weekend get away for my wife and I. My wife travels a lot and stays with Marriott, so due to her status, they did upgrade us to an executive suite. It was really nice and had plenty of room. The pool was nice, and had great chair side service. Drew served us at the pool, and was top notch. Very friendly and helpful! We ate at all the restaurants. You really can’t go wrong. The steakhouse was a little expensive for what you get. The only complaint would be that they only have 1 real option for breakfast. The service could be slow at breakfast time. Overall, we had a great time and look forward to returning!

My wife and I came here in celebration from her company to her being a top producer. We were super excited since I had not stayed at a Ritz before (she had). The property itself was nice, nestled in the tall trees on a huge piece of land off of Lake Oconee. Let me start by saying the 2 most positives things about the hotel were the comfort of the beds A+ and the lovely waitress named Lourdes that was so delightful and pleasant taking care of our large group (16 people). The hotel was crazy short staffed and Saturday night we actually ended up voluntarily clearing our own table since we had piles of dirty dish’s as they were bringing out the next course…. The food was ok at best and we dined everywhere besides the steak restaurant. You can not imagine how small the morning buffet was! The staff was nice but wowwwww were they ever slow. Sorry but, nothing about this property screamed Ritz Carlton to me what’s so ever. BTW the prices!!!! Out of this world…. We payed $195 per person to jet ski for 1 hour (fun experience) and $250 each for a message that was ok but, everythingggg was an extra charge on top of the $250…. We didn’t realize there was a boat show when we chose our massage day/ time and they wanted to charge us $250 to move the reservation….. that’s an absolute joke! Disappointing experience

We’ve been here in both the summer and the winter, and it’s such a great getaway every time. Excellent service, food and rooms. Water sports in the summer are really fun, even if you’re just watching the lake.

They dropped the ball!!!
Here for three nights. One executive lake view suite one lake view room for my birthday.
Husband didn’t hour a week before planning with concierge.
They did nothing accept a bottle champagne 930 pm on my birthday.
He ordered cake they forgot my name and thought it was his mom’s birthday.
No reservations available
And restaurants were empty!!
Zero help from concierge when checked in and had to wait until 5pm for our room!
Horrible spider webs on balcony and roaches huge roaches all over the grounds.
This is not a ritz worthy property.
They renovated maybe the fire pits that’s all!
The showers you can break your neck 2x2
No bar to hold on to.
The rooms are so dark you can’t see a thing.
Towels are non existent and hard. This is not a ritz!
No lights on balcony but many huge roaches and webs. Disgusting.
Family came from far away three nights and we can’t get this time back.
Ritz Oconee train your team to take notes when a husband takes the time calls a week before and spends an hour with you on the phone. One hour!
The front desk said upon check out
“Oh well” we got a bottle of champagne to you at some point. Not a big deal.
Really let’s all forget your birthday.
Unacceptable.
Go to four seasons or anywhere else but here.
Save your time and money and don’t waste your big celebrations here.

Amazing Place. This is my family's second stay at this location and the grounds, staff, and experience are superb! Being a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite Member, they treated us extremely well and upgraded us to an Executive Suite that made our experience even better. Our hopes is to get this same upgrade when we come again next year! Kate at the lobby bar was fantastic to my wife and I and Jake at the pool next to Gabby's at the Lake were a few we had to mention. They were exceptional and so were the rest of the staff. We will be back and our kids loved the floating trampolines in the lake - they played on them every day!

Wonderful, luxury resort on Lake Oconee. Rooms are spacious and beds are really comfortable. Many, great activities for kids from morning until evening. The lake and pools make for great summer days.
