Premium award-winning olive oil made in Georgia? Who knew? Well, now we do, and so do you. Spectacularly good, and owners Curtis and Tracy will provide the story. We left with olive oil AND their amazing balsamic vinegar. We will be back!

On our way back to Atlanta from Jekyll Island, we were fortunate enough to be able to visit the farm. Without hesitation they gave my wife and I a tour and tasting ( even though we had a baby and 4 year old in tow). More importantly, the olive oil was fantastic; honestly some of the best we've had. Forget Georgia wine, our olive oil is where it's at!

I recently ordered a case of this lovely olive oil. It’s delicious, rich yet light, with fresh green notes and a hint of pepper.I’ve been looking for an olive oil that is grown and processed locally, as I believe our bodies best utilize the energy and nutrients of foods from the same region that we live (rather than eating imported foods from all around the globe). My family and I primarily consume olive oil for its health benefits, and I personally make it a goal to consume about 1/2 liter per week; I’ve never felt better, and have been doing this routine for about a year. The olive oil from Woodpecker Trail Olive Farm is fresh (as in harvested from the most recent season), and overall excellent in quality, not only from a taste standpoint, but also from a biodiverse and environmental aspect— no fungicides, insecticides, or roundup. Their shipping was prompt and very secure packing.Don’t be fooled into thinking you need to buy olive oil from Mediterranean countries to get a high quality oil. Remember, many of these European countries adulterate and dilute their olive oil with cheap inflammatory seed oils, and also the bottles of oil likely have been sitting on store shelves under artificial light for many months, losing their antioxidant value.I enjoy doing research and learning about local farms and their practices. I feel confident in Woodpecker Trail Olive Farm’s practices, I’ll be back for many more orders!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and tasting at the Woodpecker Trail Olive Farm this week! Curtis, the owner, gave a full tour of their farm. He showed us all the different varieties of olive trees that he has planted and educated us on all the requirements of the trees to grow and produce fruit! We watched a video of how they process the olives to make the oil. We also saw the tortoise preserve, where their beavers live, their pine Forrest and much more! We also tasted their award winning olive oil! It was so good we bought two bottles and some balsamic vinegar. I highly recommend going to visit their farm!

What a delightful surprise to discover Woodpecker Trail Olive Farm in our back yard yesterday! Curtis and Tracy are such gracious hosts and such a wealth of information about the history of olive oil that originated in Georgia in the 19th century. Who knew?! The tasting was beyond expectation - a smooth, buttery taste that has won international awards and made us realize that so much of what we purchase in the grocery stores is rancid and adulterated. When you sample this oil, you realize what you've been missing!

I have never visited this place but I want to. I order their Olive oil and Balsamic vinegar all the time. The vinegar is so good you could drink it from the bottle! It's great for baking, salad dressing, even marinade - all by itself! Their olive oil tastes very good also. I usually get the set so I have both awesome products all the time. <3
