I brought in a few inspo pics and still didn’t get the haircut I was looking for…
For a “luxury” hair salon, there was more to be desired— the interior was nice, but maybe that was about it.
I was put off by the wait time delay and lack of info about the level of my hairdressers’ abilities. A “new stylist”haircut starts at $35 and only goes up from there for a more senior stylist. Do your research before going and maybe you’ll find more peace of mind of what to expect.
TLDR: I’ve had better experiences at other salons in Gainesville, but wanted to check this place out- imo it’s not worth it. Do your research (or you’ll end up with a botched haircut just waiting to grow back)

Not worth the cost. I gave Princeton saloon a six month. Try just to be sure. It is very noisy. It attempts to be upscale but fails miserably. On my last visit there I was charged for a procedure that I did not get. I asked the stylist call me so I can talk to her about it, and she has never done that. I was refunded the money, but a call would have been the proper courtesy I have since found another salon that charges a fraction of what Princeton did and does a perfectly decent job.

Called twice today to make an appointment. Each time a young lady asks to put me on hold and I waited max 10 minutes and no one comes back on the phone!

From the day I got married 20 years ago to today, I have been going to Princeton Salon to get my hair done. I love my girl Kayla to the moon and back. I’ve got nothing but love for this place!!

I will start by saying I have only gone to Barbers for years.. As my first experience at a Salon I am blow away with the quality cut and style I received from Erika! She knows what she's doing and handles it professionally! I have also seen the incredible cuts and colors she does for the Lady's as well and might I say its something special.. As for the rest of the Salon, everyone was welcoming and a joy to spend my time with.. I will be back soon that I can promise!

I wanted to surprise my wife with a new haircut and color. Made a appointment for color and cut. She waited the 3 weeks and went for the appointment. The business did not “book enough time” to do a color. The lady was quite rude and did nothing to try to get the wife in. Incredibly disappointed but glad we did not do business with people so rude. This was a younger lady with blonde hair.

Only open until 4, got in at 345pm and they said they were closing after their final clients, probably they're good, I don't know, but they should update their hours

New to Gainesville and long overdue for highlights so I took a chance on Princeton. Such a great experience!! Erika was so kind and did a fabulous job on my hair. The salon was clean and inviting. Highly recommend!

The Lady that is front desk Coordinator is Very Rude,She hangs up on you,has No Customer Service Expertise!! Someone needs Restraining" I was in full sentence saying for her to Have A Blessed Day & Thank you and She slammed ph down...
I have been A Customer since 2020 and also sent tons of Clientele to Princeton!
I will take My Business elsewhere

I asked for a wash and style. Great wash, terrible style. I’m pretty sure that the stylist and everyone in the salon knew it too. I would post photos but it looks terrible.
