I have been in the store twice in the last 2 weeks looking to order furniture for our new home in Braselton. Not ONCE, but TWICE when I entered the store the sales girls couldn’t be bothered to get out of their chairs and assist us! While eating their lunch, snacks whatever two of them could barley stand up from their desk to inform us to “holler if we needed any help!???’” The obvious lack of interest not only once, but twice letMe know all I needed to see. The showroom looks pretty, but without the warm, friendly staff they have had for years the help and love are not the same!Over the past two weeks I gave up, and ended upFinding some wonderful furniture at Brownlees Furniture near the Mall of Ga. Sales lady could not have by more professional, and helpful! Their prices were AMAZING!!! Their loss is my GAIN!!!!

My niece and I went in today looking for a new couch and recliner. There were no other shoppers at the time. At least three ladies were behind the counter and at one point one of them came through area we were in. And No, not to ask if we needed help. Actually no one even acknowledged we were there. Even though I saw several things I truly liked I would not buy from there. Ever. What has happened to customer service?

What a grand experience! Macy was very patient with me as I found exactly what I wanted on two different visits! Delivery service CANNOT be matched. Excited about the second delivery!

I purchased furniture from Martin Furniture several years ago and the experience was great but I went in yesterday and the two ladies behind the counter were less than helpful. I ask if they had any sectionals and she said "did you see the one in the window"? I told her I did but I didn't want white. She never offered to say oh we have catalogs you can look at to find what you are looking for she just turned to the other lady and they kept talking. Another customer in the store was more helpful than the employees. After walking around and looking I was still being ignored. You know everyone says buy from local businesses and I tried but the big box stores are so much more friendly and are willing to go above and beyond to help you in your search. Now I know why small hometown businesses go out of business the snobbiness that they have speaks volumes and I guess my money is not as good as others.The only reason they got two stars is because I had a good experience the last time I bought from them.

What a great furniture store!!! Best one in Gainesville. They had a great selection of items and home furnishings. The customer service was amazing. The two women working in there could not have been more friendly and welcoming. We will be back. Love our new purchase.

I ordered a desk from Martin Furniture and after waiting patiently for a few weeks my order was returned because it was damaged. After checking on the internet this particular desk has arrived damaged on a number of occasions. This begs the question why isn’t Martin’s Furniture being more proactive to protect this product. The reason is they cut corners on packaging and hope the desk arrives without incident! This desk was a surprise gift for my wife who works from home. I showed her a picture of the desk and she loved it which didn’t help. Martin Furniture never offered to expedite an immediate replacement for my desk. They said I had to wait for the damaged desk to be returned and after 9 days it still hasn’t been returned from the shipper!

They are a family owned store that has been in business for over 50 years. Very good business. People very nice and helpful.

We ordered 3 bookcases from this company. One of them did not properly line up with the others so I contacted Martin in which my email "fell through the cracks" and was not responded too until I sent them another email almost a month later. Also, Martin Furniture knowingly uses a delivery company that has an F rating on BBB. This delivery company did damage to my home and all Martin furniture could say was o well. Needless to say they also never fixed the bookcase issue. Horrible customer service.

The people here are friendly and approach you in a manner of how you and your money matter. They go the extra mile with a business friendly customer first approach. From start to finish I was very pleased with how my purchases went, I wish them many many years and hope that they prosper from this new economy. Honest and friendly people here!
