I, unfortunately do not have a good review for this salon. I have tried MULTIPLE times to call to ask for a consult before getting my hair done. No answer. Left a message. No response. I have stopped by the salon and was told that stylist could see me at 2:30. Drive around Gainesville for 1.5 hours, came back at 2:30 to be told that said stylist wasn’t there! She took my number but never heard from said stylist. Randomly get a text saying my voice message was messed up and they couldn’t understand message! Responded to that text to no avail. Never heard back. One last attempt, I called, got a live person, asked for a call back from said stylist. Never heard back. Daughter in law knows said stylist and messaged her. Never got a response. Who does business this way?? I would’ve loved to use this particular stylist because I met her sister and loved her hair! But wow! I tried but will not be using or recommending J Horner!

I hate to complain, but I feel this is valid. Had an appointment with Ali to get my roots done. Went home and a few hours later put my hair up and noticed grey hairs all around my face. I called to see if I could come in for a touch up. I had to leave a message with this info. We are now going on day 4 and no return call. Very poor customer service. Won't be going back or referring anyone there.

I have been going to this salon for 27 years. Until recently it was J Green Salon, owned by Jane Green Truelove. It is now J Hornor Salon. I have been having my hair cut by Callie, she is great but I will no longer use this salon. A person never answers the phone and if you leave a message they never return your call. It’s such a shame because just like me there are a lot of people that have been going there for a long time.Service: Haircut

This is an amazing salon! All of the stylists are very talented. Erin Horner is my personal favorite as I've been fortunate enough to have Erin do my cut and color for many years. Not only is she my personal stylist, but a great friend too. If you are looking for a new salon or new to the Gainesville area, you must visit J Horner Salon!

Paige Grindle is my hairstylist at the salon and I love and appreciate her work her talent and her friendship. All staff at the salon are kind polite and accommodating. I will continue going and I suggest you go to if you are looking for a new salon! Call them for all services rendered.

Paige is amazing. Her technical talents are unparalleled, but even more than that she has an incredible ability to figure out what will make you feel like the best version of yourself. You’re sitting in her chair, enjoying super joyful/encouraging conversation, and she spins the chair around and she’s done it. Paige is fantastic. She takes time to get to know you and what you are looking for; and she gives honest feedback to my asks & (photo) "ideas". It's a treat to sit in her chair. Paige is so warm, inviting and personable. You can't help but smile when you're around her. The consummate professional, she's a master at what she does and she does an outstanding job. We are on a journey of lightning my hair up a bit. She is extra cautious to care for the health and vibrancy of my hair. I'm so happy with my hair! Thanks Paige!!
