Hello This is minh One of your recently customer.
I bought a pontoon BERKSHIRE
24RFX LE from Gainesville marina. The experience was great but I have a story to tell.
I come visit store and I get help from Mr David
Through the process everything was good
The customers service was great
David help us with all the questions we need he is very honest person We told him what we need and how much money we want to spend money on the boat and he give us very good deal and good suggestions . We are happy with the boat
But the delivery process I had a problem with a delivery company and I want to make sure this is nothing to do with Gainesville marina , it separates and the first company I hide name (lakeside marine ) the handle deliver service guys name (James stewards) please do not use this company at all they do horrible business not professional they hire some young kids like 20 years old to deliver the boat for you
What happened was They didn’t tight the boat right so the Bimini got broken by the wind on the way to the location and they didn’t want to pay for repairs cost and they try to ran away . They have no insurance and no llc for their business . They do some shady business it just so horrible
I have to hire a lawyer to work on this case to get my money back and it still in process.
And I have to talk to David and
Gainesville marine take back the boat and order the part and repair the boat for us and they look exactly like how when I bought it
While the time for repair process any questions , phone call Mr David always answers me . And make it clear I’m the one pay for the (repairs cost )for now
When the boat done David recommended us another delivery company and his name is Richard and the delivery was perfectly done well
This company professional and insured.
Good communication and on time
The way he get in to the ramb and drop off the boat was awesome , i would recommended Richard ? if you need your boat delivered.
Like I said this is my first experience to buy a boat and we learn alot and thank you Mr David for help us with everything

Went to go look at boats, we were shown a few and found one we like. We shopped around for financing since their in house financing came back with much higher rates than my bank we decided to use outside financing. The bank has specific requirements and papers that needed to be signed. The boat that we were buying was being sold on consignment which we were not originally told. Since the dealer didn’t own the boat the bank needed authorization from the seller to make pay off amongst some other paperwork. The bank received papers that were half filled out and not clear legal forms but papers that appear to be just typed up by the dealer and not the bank that holds the title. After two weeks of the dealer blaming the finance company we are looking at a boat from another dealer who has had no issues working with this bank. Communication has not been the best and text messages from one guy didn’t match what another would say on the phone.
Wish this would have turned out better but unfortunately it hasn’t been the best experience. And feel the dealer is just trying to get out of the sale.

For at least a year now on my way to work the wife and I have drove by this place and we see the same pontoon boat still listed for $49.900. To the owner of this marina I'm sure you've paid that much in taxes on that pontoon. Instead of idk being greedy why not lower the price to say 35k. I bet you would sell it in less than a month. Just a suggestion. And if your not into doing that at least move that eye sore and put something nicer up for those of us that drive past there to see everyday.
