DO NOT USES THIS BROKER.. This place has no respect for O/O . I’m on a load for them and the receiver kept my trl for 10 hours. They’re paying 2 hrs of detention, I’ve lost a whole day for they’re cheap rpm. They will give you a list of reasons why they will charge you but they won’t take any responsibility for your lost time. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Worst broker I have ever worked!Customers and Carriers do not work with this company, they have lying carriers not paying for the shipments and as a Customer do not work with them they always have issue with shipments and delays.

Terrible "broker". We booked a team load with Matt Lee. Our drivers dropped trailer on Friday morning for loading. Their customer cancelled the load the same day and Freedom Trans knew about this but nobody informed us. Only on Saturday, at the end of the day UPS said that we were removed from the load and they loaded another carrier instead.Per our conversation with Dusty Leonard, they won't pay us any layovers. Freedom Trans is not willing take responsibility for their actions.Unprofessional, negligent company.

Dear Fellow Drivers,I feel compelled to share a recent experience with FreedomTrans, a company that was once known for honorable operations. Unfortunately, it seems they've taken a different path, falling for to the alluring grift of double-brokering loads. This incident felt like a chapter right out of "The Big Short."We booked a load, believing it was to be picked up in Fairburn, only to discover it was actually located in Newnan. The load, supposedly "ready now," left us waiting for hours at the shipper (Hello Fresh) that had no record of an appointment. Upon contacting Kareem, the broker, we were assured detention pay without a cap and that we would be loaded within a “few” hours, yet we were only loaded at 9:45 AM.Later, at UPS, we found out it was a drop trailer, a detail FreedomTrans failed to communicate. The task extended until 3:30 PM the next day. When we requested the revised rate con with detention, suddenly it was no longer Kareem’s load. It was now AJ’s., a broker who could only offer an additional $150.To exacerbate matters, the whole ordeal took three days to conclude and receive the meager additional compensation.Fellow drivers, let this serve as a cautionary tale. This is a poor excuse for a Broker company with bad Customers. Matt is a horrible Broker to book any load with.Lost two back haul load’s because of this Brokers poor service and zero help. Delivery took from 9 A.M to 5 P.M lost a entire day and two back hauls. Never again doing business with this company and their poor customers with very bad receivers.

Scammers. Not paying carriers for load delivery. They intentionally dont sned macropoint invitation and then charge carrier.

Been booking loads thru AJ Smallwood for the past 2 years . AJ is always professional and very detailed when giving loads . Any issues Ive had pertaining to the broker company he addresses them very quickly. If you’re looking at a load from FREEDOM Trans , AJ is your guy !

we have been working this brokerage company for 3 years and we are still doing their several lanes and spot loads for them. They (especially Drew Highfield and his team) always help us on any load and very quick respond to our emails. Furthermore, we did not have an issue with payment and they give a fair rate on load. We highly recommend other carrier to reach out Freedom and make more gross with good loads.

Do not work with them or David Steines. He sold us a load saying delivery window is 8-10 am when people who unload don’t actually come it till 2 pm. As soon as I told him that I checked in at receiver, he disappeared, stopped answering calls and emails. This liar costed me my next load and now hides like a little girl from paying me detention. We’ve been trying to reach him for over a week. If this company allows such liars to work for them, they are all like that. Hey David, how about being a man and reply to emails?!
