While on vacation & staying at Don Carter State Park, we stopped here for one(1) item. As a loyal DG shopper, I have NEVER encountered such a terrible store! So much bundled stock on rolling racks was pushed up against shelves for isle after isle after isle. I couldn't get to the item we needed. Other shoppers with carts couldn't even get down the isles.
As I walked out empty handed, I asked the manager if this was a new store & just getting set up. He abruptly said "no, we're just little behind". He left the store a few minutes behind me & left.
This is not normal for DG & so I'm writing to hopefully let someone who has authority to the team together to clean this mess up!

Wow great job!! It has not looked this nice in years!! Well done and that was a ton of work. Your customer noticed and had to comment. This place is cleaned up and so organized now. Great job. I feel like we got a new dollar general.

This is by far the worst dollar general there is and that’s really saying something. Nothing is stocked on shelves. It’s all still on its transportation carts. They close and lock the doors before they are supposed to. And I’m not talking 5 minutes early. They have had them closed 30 minutes early before. Staff isn’t helpful at all and look like they absolutely hate their lives and especially their jobs. The number of times I’ve come here and they didn’t have something in stock is insane. I’m honestly embarrassed to even say I still buy anything from here. Place is absolute trash. Don’t shop here

I went into the store on Sunday 10/2/2022 & the shelves where empty, boxes stacked to the ceiling & blocking aisles!!! Not one thing I needed could be found (I'm sure they where in those stacked boxes) the sweet girl working said that they had plenty of help but no hours for them to get anything done!! I said well when one of those boxes falls on someone & injures them then I'm sure there will be no store to work at after the huge lawsuit that will be coming!! Dollar General really needs to get there act together!!!

We went to this store today and you could barely get in the door cause so much stuff was by the door and the shelves were about empty then you get to the check out and the lady acting like she doesn't want to be there then she wants to charge you more for an item and I had to show her and she was so rude and everytime you go in the store different people are they working at the check out only it looks cause nobody puts things out on the shelves and the coke guy was there and the lady that was talking to him acted like she didn't have a care in the world about her job by the look of the store management doesn't care either I think this store should be shut down

This was an impromptu visit to General Dollar store; because the Family Dollar store was closed. I seen a woman dressed in a Ghostbuster's costume. I wasn't sure she was an Store Associate. She was very friendly, polite and helpful. I look forward to returning to this store soon.?

They remodel the store. It now has just about everything you could need. I may never need to have to go all the way to town to a big store again.

This store is always dirty cant get ar8to get what ya need ..never any milk due to storage being full cant get to it they say ..just clean the place up
