We have purchased 2 Mitsubishi Outlanders from Jim Shorkey in Gainesville. For the 2024 that we purchased, Josie Rios helped us. She was excellent. We have had the 2023 serviced at the wonderful facility and we have been pleased with the speedy service and pleasantness of the service staff.
If someone plans to buy a new vehicle, I highly recommend allowing Josie and the fine people at Jim Shorkey to assist you with your purchase.

Horrible experience. Our sales rep Alex was not knowledgable at all. He was rude, had the personality of a wall, not helpful at all. Didn’t answer any of our questions. We came to look at a 2022 Nissan kicks, it was dirty, had rust spots on the hood and they said they will let us know if they can fix it after their “big meeting “they were having. Never called us back with the answer or followed up. We ended up going to Nissan Shorkey dealer next door for a much better experience.

Brandon did a great jog]b communicating with me and my wife during the process of trying to get a replacement vehicle for the one that was recently totalled. We are from out of state and he helped set up a convenient time and assurances that the car would be there since we were driving over two and a half hours to test drive the car. Unfortunately, we had rental car issues on the way down and Brandon did all he could to make the car available for us during this process.

Got me a 2022 dodge ram 1500 Warlock from here.
Had help from Cristina. I’ve been to a lot of dealerships. Had a few vehicles and never had anyone help me like she has. If you’re looking for a vehicle. I would definitely recommend meeting with her.

The service people are nice, however , they really do not know how to work on PHEVs (like many Mitsubishi dealerships). I highly suggest that you do not purchase a Mitsubishi PHEV or EV. Any other type of Mitsubishi is fine because the dealerships will know how to fix it. That brings us to warranty. Mitsubishi stock is tanking, their new cars are sitting on dealer lots, and they are losing a lot money, they are not honoring fixes that should be under warranty. Do your research. We wish we had.

Told me that I was co-signing for a vehicle and would be getting a $500 rebate check in 5 to 10 working days. The vehicle and loan both ended up in my name and 15 working days, three weeks, still no check.
Called the dealership and now being told that the check went to the dealership for the down payment.
I told him, “Mike “ that I felt that they used deceptive practices to sell the vehicle.

Our experience at this dealership was excellent. We went to a couple of other dealerships before going to this one and kept running into issues (car not on the lot, too sales driven, etc.) we called Jim Shorkey and spoke with Mike about the same exact car that we had been looking at with other dealers and he told us a price $3000 lower than the other dealers. My husband and Mike spoke back and forth several times because at first we were skeptical about such a big price difference but Mike assured us it was the price he said. We also live 1.5 hrs from Jim Shorkey so we wanted to make sure we weren’t going to waste any time before going. We went the next morning and had Josphyne as our sales person who is so sweet and caring. She didn’t push anything on us and was very genuine with her job. Mike also honored the same exact price that he told us over the phone without any back and forth sales antics. Overall it was a great experience and there’s some great people that work there as mentioned above. We're very happy with our purchase and will consider them again in the near future for another purchase!

Alex Chavez is great I recently lossed my fiance due to a sudden heart attack and he treated us with respect and compassion would definitely recommend Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi to anyone and Alex as the sales rep. Very professional and considerate. Thanks for making this experience easier even though it may not have worked out the way I wanted it to. Maybe one day I'll get that 4 runner.
