I really appreciate Dr. Soafer and her style of care. She was very straight forward with everything throughout the visit. It's the first vet I've ever visited that seemed to genuinely care for my animal. She made sure I was comfortable with the cost before proceeding with anything as well as offered various options. She was very honest with me, and I can't thank her enough for not being greedy like a lot of others in her field would've been with my pets condition. She never once tried to push me into expensive treatments or further testing, she simply let me know things were beyond any amount of money for treatments & surgeries, and advised me that it was time to make that hard decision to save my pet from a slow gruesome end and having to helplessly witness it and she didn't push me to do it there. I ended up going home & scheduling an in home euthanasia. If it wasn't for her I don't think I would've realized how bad the situation actually was, and she was right, if I would've waited another day things would've been very traumatizing. Things didn't end well for us, but because of such a wonderful Dr. we were guided in the best direction, in an affordable manner, where everyone was as comfortable as possible. She truly saved my life and the end of my long time friends'.

Dr Pete is simply the best! We brought our car here to get a second opinion on some medical problems. Dr Pete was so kind and helpful and was able to save our cat!
Bethel is such a nice facility and everyone is so kind!

The vets are top-notch here. A very caring staff who I can tell really care about the animals. The prices are reasonable. They explained everything to me in detail.

Went there 4 years ago with a GSD pup for an initial visit. Price gouged would be an understatement. Tried to up-sell unnecessary stuff. “We don’t do emergencies” is what I was told a couple of weeks ago. Don’t bother with trying to go there.

We absolutely adore Bethel Animal Hospital! They have been taking care of our beloved Jack Russell Dachshund mix for the past 10 years. When she got bitten by a copperhead, they had the life-saving anti-venom readily available. Without their quick action, she wouldn't have made it. Dr. Pete is always meticulous in his examinations, ensuring that we get all the answers we need whenever something is amiss. Dr. Pete now also takes care of my parents Belgian malinois including his after surgery care for a broken femur and teeth cleanings. We cannot express enough gratitude for this exceptional veterinary office and its incredible staff. Trust them with your furry friends, they truly go above and beyond!

While staying with family when we were in hospital, Bodhi experienced a severe eye injury. As we were new to the area, we called looking for a vet that was familiar with eye injuries. When we spoke with Bethel, they were well versed in the possible treatments and admitted him immediately. First they were very thorough in explaining each of the possibilities of the treatments that could safely be done to hopefully save Bodhi's eye and at least some if his vision. But most importantly they focused on the realistic options that could restore his over all health. Bodhi is now a healthy happy dog, who, thanks to Bethel's patient, expert treatment and genuinely compassionate care, Bodhi should be with us for many years to come! Dr. Pete, your entire team is extraordinary. Bless you all!

Dr. Peter W. Kowalewski (Dr. Pete) is great with my dogs. It's a bit far from where I live (FB) but his staff is very responsive and timely. I don't ever feel pressure to seek treatments that are not beneficial for my pup. Dr. Pete calls me himself and gives me the time to discuss what is going on with my dog and what treatments may help. He's pretty chill and down to earth. I genuinely feel he and his staff love animals and are not just collecting a paycheck.

I’ve taken my dog here for annual visits and have been nothing but pleased with my experience. I always feel my dog is taken well care of. Dr. Pete takes his time with her and is very knowledgeable. I had a scare with my dog having an allergic reaction and called the office for a second opinion. The staff was so nice and advised me to bring her in. Dr. Pete made her a priority and got her taken care of. He never rushed our visit and took the time to make me knowledgable of the situation as well. Highly recommend Bethel!

I am so grateful for Dr. Pete, I truly believe he saved our little girls life. Dr. Pete went above and beyond in making sure that CJ was receiving the best care possible during her serious conditions. We think she is finally on the road to recovery. I would also like to say, I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff at Bethel Animal Hospital. Thank you all so much!!!

Dr. Pete is hands down the best around! Very thorough. He will answer all the questions you may have with patience, kindness, & understanding. He cares for his patients (pups) and actually takes the time to explain what is going on. I love 35 mins away from this vet, and still choose this place of anywhere else, to take my babies. Dr. Pete is wonderful. He shows compassion and empathy towards all animals. His prices are very fair. Over all an exceptional place for your pets.

Vet technicians need more training! In addition customers & animals should be treated with more care,concern and respect. Better vets are available within a 5 mile radius.
