I can honestly say I have never been more disappointed in a venue. Not the space.... But the management. The lack of communication was incredibly frustrating from the get go... we had to hunt them down by repeatedly calling and emailing to make the payments. Then we have the unfortunate situation where we needed to cancel our date. I emailed them 5 mos prior to our date, which was NOT a sought after date, being a Sun in Nov. The communication regarding this change was beyond frustrating. I told them we needed to cancel the date, but we may try to reschedule. I'd get back to them about that. We tried to reach out regarding a refund since the week before we had just paid around $1800. After several more weeks, they responded saying the cancellation date was several weeks later than it actually was. When I relied to show them the previous email proving the correspondence. I was ghosted. As was my mother, who had made the payments. I know that not all businesses treat their customers how they would want to be treated, however I expected much more. I wish I had read all the previous reviews. Be warned!! If they don't like what you have to say.... You'll be ghosted. :(

10-20-2020 - We attended my nephews wedding here this evening and what a great experience it was! Everything from the ceremony to dinner and dancing was exceptional! This Venue went above and beyond to make sure that my nephew and his bride had a wonderful experience! We as the family also had a wonderful experience! This is a great venue to host whatever event you are planning! Whether it be a wedding or a retirement party this is a great location conveniently located between Gainesville and Oakwood. The food was delicious and the inside atmosphere was impeccable! Everything was arranged neatly and we really appreciated the table dedicated to the loved ones who where there only in Spirit. I would have given them 5 stars but honestly the road noise interfered with the ceremony. The venue owners have taken great steps in cutting down the noise but maybe upgrading the sound system would help. Especially speakers on that roadside side. Overall it was a beautiful wedding at a beautiful venue with fabulous food and everything went off without a hitch and happy wedding Nephew and your lovey Bride!

I ordered and arrangement for a funeral service. I gave them my ideas and the result was beyond my expectations, and my expectations are high. I wanted a celebration of life type of arrangement where each person in attendance could take a flower with them at the end of the service. The result was absolutely stunning.

Unprofessional, untrustworthy, confusing, and just plain rude! NOT A FAKE REVIEW. SEE PICTURE OF CONTRACT ATTACHED. My experience with RLM Affairs in Oakwood, Georgia was a nightmare that I would never wish on any bride! The service and treatment I received from Resia with RLM Affairs was horrific and caused me and my family extreme stress and anxiety before, during, and after the happiest day of my life. Listed below is a brief summary of the service I received: The set up - they did not set up everything as it was listed in the contract and reviewed over and over again with them. Nor did they supply all the decor outlined in the contract. -Missing items – did not supply all items listed in our contract and paid extra to have. Some items include: mothers wristlets, groomsmen boutonniere and natural flowers, tied ribbon on tables and “No seat chart” sign. -Took items with them when they left – third bouquet and a few signs that I brought. -Did not clean up, even though it is in the contract. -Communication – it was hard to get in touch through multiple emails and phone calls. When we did get in touch it felt very rushed and more confusing than when the conversation started. -Never received designer -Being rude and causing unnecessary stress to guest, bride, and bridal party. Pulled tablecloth out from under guest with no words during reception, did not put label on adult cocktail when asked to and was told to just tell everyone themselves, contacted bride night before wedding that they were not going to set up tables, rudely rushed bride and groom to cut cake an hour early, verbally attacked mother of bride moments before ceremony stating that they did not have the mothers wristlets even though I paid extra to have them, took down ceremony décor moments after ceremony and before pictures were taken then proceeded to blamed the photographers, talking loudly in front of guests about mother of the bride not paying for mother wristlets even though we have a statement from them, and Friday before wedding, after stating we could bring items over early that they were responsible for putting out, she acted as if she had no idea we were bringing them and proceeded to argue with us, called us liars and told the bride that “nothing was perfect” and when the bride stated we would just bring the items ourselves she stated that “it seemed to be stressing me out, so they would just take care of it”. Honestly, I am still in shock and disbelief of the treatment I received. It was clearly unacceptable, and I had no other choice but to request half my money back for items not received, services not performed, overall performance, and causing unnecessary stress and displeasure. But after several attempts (emails, certified letter) to contact them and a complaint with BBB, they have chosen to simply ignored me and have made no attempt to make things right. No explanation and no apology!

What an Amazing place!!! My wedding was everything I wanted I highly Recommend. Our Dinner was top notch as we are foodies & very picky. We asked for 3 tastings and they were happy to give us what we needed . Which was to taste a lot of food! Lol It was all great and we just could not decide. We landed on an amazing salmon with champagne cause that just was perfect!!! The flowers I had were more than I asked for. we had agreed on roses & hydrangeas because peonies were out of my budget & Resia Surprised me with them in my bouquet as a gift to me! Who does that gives expensive gifts to a client. RLM Affairs does. When we signed up with them to hold our wedding we also received a Free yes Free Beautiful hand poured candle. Then Resia announced"we are offically part of the Family now& they could not wait to be part of our love story" Is that not the sweetest. Needless to say we are in Love with everyone at RLM. We highly recommend all of their services! You will be so happy & stress free!!

Had our wedding here and the amount of detail they add is spectacular. We imagined only having about 80 people at our wedding ended up with over 100! They were so great with making everything work out! I couldn't have chosen a better reception location. Food was great, flowers were beautiful and all staff were nothing less than amazing! Can't recommend this venue enough!!!

Resia and the folks at RLM Affairs did a wonderful job catering and decorating our wedding. The floral design for the table centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnières turned out just how we wanted them. Resia was very receptive to our ideas and offered suggestions that helped bring everything together. The catering menu is large enough to satisfy many different preferences. The BBQ meal that we selected was delicious and no one went away hungry. The table linens were beautiful and I can't think of anything to complain about. We do have one constructive criticism which is it would be fantastic if payments could be made online through the RLM website. Other than that, we highly recommend RLM Affairs.

It’s been almost a year since my wedding and I’m thinking back to the event. This company is has good and bad aspects. PROs: They have been around a long time. Lovely floral arrangements and bouquets. Yummy cupcakes. CONs: Poor communication. Tried contacting them on several occasions over several months. Saved all my emails and notes from my attempts. They tried to charge me extra fees at the last minute. I desperately wanted to go over my menu in advance and they said 10 days out was “too early.” Food was disappointing...we didn’t get what was described in our package or of the quality we had at our tasting. They forgot at least one boutonnière. Everything turned out okay but it was extremely stressful, especially less than two weeks before my wedding when I hadn’t heard from them and began really worrying. When I voiced my concerns, the owner was condescending. I would not recommend them because of their poor communication and attitude. Again, the floral and cupcakes were good. Everything else was not.
