“This shop is truly one of the most honest shops still around. I had my 2001 jeep grand cherokee Limited v8 4.7l 2wd in for diagnostics, and it is only $95 here. Meineke quoted me $144 per hour. They came back with a reliable and honest quote for the timing chain and only charged me for the diagnostics and new battery. Even though I couldn't get the repairs done, it was overall a great experience to finally know what repairs I needed that didn't break the bank. I highly recommend this automotive shop.”

“After getting less than sub-par service from another well known import shop in Gainesville, on our 2015 Audi Q7, I decided to give Solo a shot.
It's getting really hard to trust a lot of shops nowadays, but Andy and Zeke were absolutely amazing and they answered any and all questions I had and didn't make me feel dumb for asking, unlike the other place in Gainesville we were previously dealing with. Both of them are top notch guys and by far the most professional I've ever dealt with from any shop.
Zeke installed some new JH Motorsports bolt-on high flow catalytic converters I supplied, then diagnosed and repaired a misfire due to a faulty fuel injector. I opted to replace all 6 injectors while they were in there at Zeke's recommendation and I'm glad I did! They had the car in & out in and running better than it did the day we brought it home!! She will MOVE now!
If you're looking for a shop for your euro car that will treat you right and not try to rip you off, this is the place! They 1000% have our buisness in the future!”
“Went there 15 minutes before closing in an emergency because my vehicle had two tires that got dry rotted and both belts broke showing metal and rubber coming off and needed it changed ASAP for work tomorrow, and they changed it so fast and right before they closed. Amazing tread and amazing prices. Super friendly with amazing customer service. I strongly recommend this tire store, they also do brakes too!”
“Visiting family in oakwood from out of town. Engine leaked a bunch of coolant and overheated. Victor Gomez had the only shop in Gainesville open on July 4th and was highly responsive. I told him I would try to get my vehicle towed to the shop and when it had been a couple hours and my car was not there, he called me to verify that I was coming. Met him on Saturday morning with the vehicle at the shop and he was very forthright about what he would do to diagnose the problem. I got a good reassurance I see that he takes care of his customers and does honest business. He deals honestly with people despite them not being locals.
Sent me a video of the diagnosis and symptoms. He ended up needing to replace the water pump and he provided multiple options for repair to help save money and have a better warranty option on the parts. He kept constant communication with me throughout the repairs and got them done in the same day.
Would highly recommend him to anyone needing a trustworthy mechanic.”
“We got a nail in the front tire of a Sprinter conversion camper. We were 45 min away in Helen and called every garage around and only North Hall even tried to help us. We plugged the tire ourselves, then brought it there for inspection and to swap the tire to the back. This team was awesome. The shop was more concerned with our families safety than making money. We greatly apricated them and the work they do. Every customer we saw there seemed thrilled to to business with them.”

“As a top 10% Google reviewer and dedicated local guide. I can't say enough good things about this group of mechanics. Man they totally restored my confidence in humanity and were straight up and honest. He diagnosed the vehicle for me same day, was expected to wait a day because they were slammed, but they were hustling hard getting stuff done! He advised me it was in fact my ac compressor beginning to say it's goodbyes. He also advised me to try to run it until it goes completely. Saved me a ton of money for now, but I'll be back to get my a/c compressor changed and we have more money and aren't a week away from having our second daughter. These guys know that you will be back because they gave great service. Because he didn't have to run any test or dive into the system, the owner opted to waive the $98 diagnostic fee ( which I've seen other shops charge $150 for the same diagnostic service), and that sold me on their honesty and up front way of business. I'll be back!!!”
