We needed cabinets for our entire house and shopped around before landing at Hitson. From the first time I spoke with Kristin, I knew this is where we wanted our cabinetry from.
Kristin and Abbey took so much time discussing color options with us and got our design absolutely perfect. We did change things around quite a bit and there was never one time where they seemed frustrated with us, which I was thankful for.
The cabinets are stunning, and craftsmanship is top notch!
We did run into an issue with our hood not fitting in the into the cabinet, they fixed it and everything looks flawless. Chris was our installer and he did a fantastic job. He took tons of time getting all the small details right. Gary personally called me a few weeks after install was complete just to make sure we were totally happy with everything, and I did appreciate that. We would recommend Hitson to anyone looking for cabinetry!

When I first met with Hitson to obtain a bid for cabinetry in our new home, I walked away thinking these are the folks I want to do the job. After doing my diligence and checking references I was deflated. I was honest with Gary and told him what I read and he was honest and shared his trials during 2020 and why those reviews existed. He offered an immediate solution to address my fears and backed that in writing. Their work is top notch from design, construction through installation. Every step of the process, they remained in contact with me so I knew exactly how things were progressing. Hitson met our needs, delivered exactly what we wanted and ahead of schedule. You won't go wrong with working with the Hitson team.

Quality cabinetry and still going strong after 9 years!! Amazing customer service. They give you the small town vibe and tend to you like a friend. We will be returning with any future designs.

We purchased our cabinets in 2022. Very happy with the quality. In fact we went back in 2023 to get our pantry done. Again, excellent quality. Thanks to Hitson we have a beautiful kitchen and pantry and my wife is so happy.

This company took $100,000 check from my customers 2 months before filing bankruptcy. This man knew his company was going under and he continued to take deposits and paid in full checks until the end. Apparently Gary is the new GM after his business was bought out so extremely troublesome that he's allowed to move on while we got nothing. No cabinets, no refund, just and offer to build some of the cabinets after the buy out but only if my customers put down another $30k lol!!! Who in their right mind would do business with a company like this?? Apparently accountability is dead for business crooks in that area.

DO NOT hire these people! Hitson bankruptcy filed one month after taking our $23K deposit So egregious! You think Gary Hitson knew he was going out of business, the answer is YES! So typical poor business management, bankruptcy, then bought by an investor, 3H. Now back in business! Customers get screwed and Hitson gets bankruptcy protection. STAY AWAY from anything associated with this business. Don't be fooled by the fancy showroom.

We have started on a clean slate, recently, eliminating the back log, and making previous customers happy, after a very misfortunate bump in the road. WE ARE BACK IN BUSINESS!! I love the excuse of the pandemic and supply chain that Hitson is giving for not supplying cabinets when promised and money collected. You were forced into involuntary bankruptcy to try and stop liquidating your assets and pay people back their money. Also what is the excuse for telling people you were ready to start their cabinets in March 2023 knowing full well you couldn’t supply them. If anyone reads this don’t go here, try Wood Hollow Cabinets, see pictures below. We had to start our process over and went there. All in house made, came out beautiful. These cabinets made the Hitson Cabinets nightmare not hurt so bad.

Hitson built the most beautiful kitchen, and built in’s for me. The quality, design, customer service was excellent! I recently sold my house, and it was only in the market for one day, I was so sad to leave but the people who bought it raved about my cabinets! I am in the process of renovating my new home, and I am so excited to work with Hitson again. They are the absolute best in the business! Took our money March 2023 and closed up shop end of March. Tired of your excuses Gary. Many other people in same situation as us. You don’t do that to people. You don’t do that to neighbors! If you were in such dire straights in your business you don’t keep taking money! Is your bankruptcy even finished yet? How can you even buy supplies to try and build cabinets or hire people? But I see your show room is open? Going to take more money from innocent people? Buyer beware. Google channel 3 news story. That’s how we found out we we were fleeced. We paid for our cabinets in full because that was our only option in September 2022. I understand that supply issues can happen. However, Gary Hitson told us specifically in March 2023 to go ahead and demo our entire kitchen because they would deliver the next week- Knowing full well that our cabinets would not be delivered because they weren't made. We did not have a kitchen for six months with small children to feed and out of all of our money. Why would someone lie and put us in that position- knowing full well they would not deliver? It’s one thing to be behind on orders and communicate that , it’s another to blatantly lie to hard working families who trusted a small business, leaving them without a kitchen & a dangerous spot for small kids I hope Gary works with this new deal to make this right to the families he lied to and took advantage of. He prides himself on being an honest and Christian man. I hope his actions prove to be so and make it up to the families he wronged.

We paid a deposit of $23,372 the first week of March 2023 and owed the same amount on completion of our cabinet order. Hitson filed bankruptcy in April 2023. Our cabinets were never even started, Gary Hitson took our money KNOWING the business was in big trouble. Now the business is sold and the new owner says they can fulfill the order for the $23,000 we owed Hitson AND an additional $14,023.50. He took our money and knew he was going under. This is the ultimate hipocracy and Chapter 11 protects him. I am sorry for all those customers who trusted Hitson and have lost so much.Service: Cabinet design
