“Great views. Great hike with challenging but doable spots which I was looking for. Definitely plan to come again. Note that times to visit are restricted, require a reservation and $16 parking fee per car. Carpool if you can.

“We absolutely love this place! They have beautiful trails for hiking or even driving on, canoeing and native plants you can purchase. Cory Hagen took us on a tour to see the red wolves, bobcat, and sand hill crane. He was very knowledgeable. We walked on several trails around and past the lake and saw the beautiful wildflowers in bloom. Everyone here was so nice and friendly. We hope to come back soon!”

They sell pre-owned goods, gently used but no longer needed, & seeking a new home: Like with you! :-) These are re-sale items in 'almost-new-condition,' due to the devoted Volunteers & their causes. They're eager to assist & very kind! They price items to sell, not sit dusty on shelves: A departure from other such stores in the area! THANK YOU!”

“I’m fortunate to witness the birth of Momentum and how it has inspired and opened doors for many young women facing obstacles that otherwise would have prevented them from succeeding in their lives and careers. Being a single momma and no opportunity like this available I had many struggles and failures. I suffered but most of all my children were affected by the lack of. This program is for the mom and their children, not a hand out but opportunities to increase quality of life and the support of the village is amazing. Mommas and volunteers that are there walking beside each other who understands what it is like to be on this journey sometimes without any support. “There are not many avenues of help for people when things get hard, call 311 and get their charity #'s list and call..you'd be surprised and possibly disappointed how far the help extends. There are a lot of "non-profit" agencies dipping into the funding in town, A LOT and yet there just isn't any help for most people. MetMin definitely fills a void, it is very hard to get through, Monday and Tuesday seem easier, Ive taken my elderly neighbor for free legal advice”

“I pay $58 every month to get my medication from Medi Thrift instead of getting it free at CVS. Medi Thrift is what pharmacies are supposed to be. I have been in there twice when the pharmacist noticed something off with someone's prescriptions and intervene very possibly saving those people's lives when their doctor gave them something they shouldn't have had. That is never going to happen at a mega chain drugstore.”
