The first time we visited in the winter we purchased several fruit trees and were really impressed with the service we received from the owner. Today drove back 2 hours to buy a truck load of azaleas and other plants. Owner wasn't there. Three employees sitting at a table. We had to ask for service. The guy told me how much the plants were asked if I wanted them and when I said yes, went and sat back down. We left. When we went back at 3:30, they had already closed, no one else was. We ended up buying them from the business next to it!

This is a great place to get plants. They're a lot more affordable than Lowes and Home Depot and have just as much variety here, if not more. And they give you great advice on what plants to choose and are very knowledgeable about each and every plant. They even will help consult with plant placement.

Good selection of plants and reasonably priced. The plants seem to be a little bigger than what you'd get at Home Depot or Lowe's, and definitely cheaper. The staff is helpful in giving advice. The owner gave us some advice on how to plant what we got and the soil to use. Everything we planted from here has done very well! Prices aren't marked on the plants so you'll need to find someone working there to ask about pricing.

Rivers at the Farmers Market is a great place to buy healthy plants at very fair prices. Mark Rivers is very informative and helpful in finding the right plants you need.

I normally don't give reviews because I feel they are hard to trust... but in this case trust me when I say you will love this place!!!! The owner Mark is excellent in helping you decide what would work and what wouldn't in your landscaping ideas! His selection of plants is excellent and he went above and beyond to help us!!! You will not be disappointed. After stopping at many place we finally found Rivers Plants and Nursery we will be back!!!!

Great selection of plants at Forest Park Farmer's Market. Friendly helpers are there if you have questions. Nothing is priced so for every plant you are interested in you have to ask someone how much it is and i've yet to meet anyone with any deep plant knowledge. The prices are comparable to Lowe's and Home Depot without the guarantee but the selection is really good and that keeps me coming back.
