Purchased a Kroger spiral cut, fully cooked. When tried toi open it, pink bloody looking juice went everywhere. Finally got it drained and put in oven at 12:00 pm today. I thought to myself, "What is this pink liquid?" We finally got it cooked around 4:00. Called and talked to man in, I guess, the meat dept. He just kept arguing how they never have any complaints on their hams , which they get from Smithfield. I told him I had been buying pre-cooked spiral hams for lots of years, and never had one that ran pink liquid. My husband said it had big chunks of bloody matter in the pan and he had to drain it. He suggested I bring it back for a replacement. I advised him we had company coming, so could not do that. Will never buy another ham from Kroger since they come from Smithfield anyway. So, praying we will not get a disease or sickness since we cooked it so long. I hate giving a bad review about anyone, but don't tell me a fully cooked ham is going to run bloody liquid.

Pharmacy app and store are not in sync with ready times for prescriptions. Store has been about two hours later with ready time, no reasons given, also drive thru is closed for unknown reasons causing unnecessary in person entry into the store.

I have shopped at this location for many years and have mostly had good experiences. Like most Kroger stores they all are very similar and are usually operated well. This location has been consistent over the years, the staff has been for the most part friendly and helpful when needed. It is always super busy so the shelves are never full but they seem to work hard at trying to keep them stocked, i very frequently am able to get everything on my shopping list as they always seem to be out of something and that's why I only give 4 stars. But I'm also realistic, with them being shopped as much as they are they could very well be out of more items on my list each time. This is still my go to grocery store as it's on my way home and the prices are good especially when you take advantage of the weekly deals and e-coupons. The saving on fuel is a bonus as well:

WARNING: Kroger will charge you a different price then the one displayed. If you are shopping there check every price as it rings up!!! When I discussed this with customer service I was told the sale price had expired the day before and they would not honor it. The sale label was still on the shelf. I guess they expect every shopper to examine the label because they don't get them taken down on time.

I've started coming to this location for Kroger as it's behind my house but my normal Kroger is in flowery branch and this one is in Oakwood. Quite large store with a lot more options including the condiment bar which is closed during the pandemic but a large produce section with choices not at other Kroger's, and just a larger platform offering dishes kitchen accessories two lawn chairs and coolers along with your standard food offerings. The meat section had fresh seafood and good choices on fish especially the Dover sole which I scooped up several pounds of and steaks looked also well this trip while the place was stocked but prior to the pandemic a really good butcher shop with a good butcher to talk to ! Again this is the larger style Kroger so there are many selections a great staff and I was able to get my fuel points which is always a bonus of Kroger saving me at times over a dollar a gallon on gas! Always recommend Kroger over Publix. I've done the shopping for me and my kids for the past 20 years and Kroger is nearly 30% cheaper on standard items and especially chicken where I can get boneless chicken breast for $1.99 or whole chickens for $.99 a pound! Publix generally runs 2.99 pound for any chicken and simple things like mayonnaise is also at least a dollar to $1.50 more a jar. Kroger is the way to go and this is where to come from if you're in the Oakwood area!!

The pharmacy in the Kroger is horrible. From their attitudes to their attention to detail. Simply ridiculous. I dropped off 4 prescriptions to be filled. After being told it would take 15 minutes I decided to shop which took about 45 minutes. Returned to the pharmacy and they still weren't filled. Once the prescriptions were ready, they didn't even mention that one of the meds couldn't be filled because they didn't have it. They were going to let me walk out the door without any acknowledgment that my order was not complete. Then when asked about the future availability of the med I got nothing but attitude from the employee. I will not be returning to this pharmacy and I really hope many people read this review and consider other pharmacies in order to avoid disappointment and wasted time. Beware.

This is our go-to for all grocery needs. It's regularly stocked with fresh foods and the staff is always friendly. A recent renovation added a sushi station, an olive station, and a cheese island. All welcome additions. And now, with the recent addition of click list, I can schedule groceries at my convenience.
