Janet was very sweet and cordial to my mother and I! We really enjoyed engaging with her! She greeted us warmly as soon as she walked in and was extremely patient when we wanted to try on just about every single ring in the case! I would highly recommend this store, especially if you enjoy antique and locally made jewelry :)

Janet you are a lovely host and run a beautiful shop full of antique treasures! I have worked in retail my entire working life and have done my share of merchandising then entering your store and looking at all the unique gifts and treasures all different shapes and sizes it's a real challenge to get them on display. You absolutely do a fantastic job displaying and selling your treasures and truly care about each and every one of the massive amount of items for sale!

The old lady at the desk immediately was rude upon arrival. They aren't a good browsing store. Fix the door, it swings too wide. Fix your bad attitude. Teenagers are treated like children. Adults are treated rudely as well. So many other antique places with better service to peruse. Overall 1/5 stars. I'm convinced this store will be closed within the year due to poor karma.

Janet is a wonderful person & shop keeper. Ii have never had a problem taking my 7 & 10 year old grandchildren in her shop. Maybe if everyone would teach their children/grandchildren to behave properly then there would never be a problem. Don't project onto Janet because of your lack of parenting skills! She actually loves interacting with my grandchildren who are well mannered and polite. I love visiting with her every chance I get. I have bought some items from her on several occasions and she has always been very pleasant. Great lady! Great shop! Great job! I look forward to visiting with you many more times. Dan Bell

Janet is a wonderful woman. Always super & friendly. People who complain about children being asked to keep their hands off of merchandise should learn how to raise children to respect other people's belongings. I take my 6 & 10 year old grandchildren in there all the time & tell them to keep their hands in their pockets. We respect Janet's business and have never had anything resembling rude behavior. My grandchildren love going in and interacting with Janet ! Seems like people need to take parenting classes & not blame a shop keeper for trying to protect their investment. Keep up the good work Janet. I enjoy coming to visit your shop !

I had the best experience! I moved to the area about 6 months ago and I’m sad it took me so long to stop by but I’m so glad I did! I found some beautiful new pieces as well as some fun vintage campaign buttons(my favorite) and had the best conversation with Janet! She was so kind and personable! I know I will be visiting for years to come! ❤️

Hi! I love Sample Pleasures! Great selection and Janet is great! She even offered to be on the look out for a specific type of glass to bring into the store for my mom. Also I think the idea to give a FREE toy to kids for not touching stuff in her store is GENIUS. I'm a former nanny from Los Angeles visiting my parents in FBranch and this current parenting style of "my kids can do anything they want even if it's your property" is nauseating and idiotic. It's an antique store, people. She sells delicate stuff. Get the kids an ice cream and an iPad (cause you know you addicted them to it lol) and sit them outside while you shop if they can't follow rules. Show some respect. Janet, you keep on keepin' on and don't let these dorky parents push you around
