Been waiting on a package since July 29th. My tracking shows its been there for 2-3 days. I only live 76 miles from this location. Should I just drive there and pick it up. My goodness!

This 5 Star review is solely for the customer service i was given by Fayetteville Post Office Supervisor Shanteria White. Our local post carrier has misdelivered our mail on multiple occasions. This happened again this past Friday, 7/26. Shanteria took my call when I called to complain. She told me she would do all that she could to locate my package and get it back to me. She called me back on Saturday to let me know she was working on tracking it down & came to my neighborhood in the pouring rain to look for it. Then, on Tuesday, my missing package showed up in my mailbox. I could not thank Shanteria enough. I have never, NEVER, received customer service to that level. She is an asset to the Post Office & I for one am glad she is at my local office. Thank you again, Shanteria White!!

I received notification that the mail person attempted to deliver a package; however the customer ask that it be held at the pot office. That’s is an outright lie, we haven’t ask for anything to be held at the post office. Furthermore, we were home looking at the delivery person driving up and down the street getting to houses that she missed as usual. She never gets our mail to us in a time manner and always have to come back eith more mail. We are retired and was at home when she came. Something needs to be done about her. The main lady is always on time and prompt with the mail.

There is an extreme lack of communication going on here. I requested for a mailbox lock change, and it took forever to do so. Whomever is in charge of that was suppose to contact me via phone to meet with the new set of keys. They never reached out but surely changed the locks almost weeks after the request. I now don’t have access to get my mail out of my mailbox. i also don’t know who could potentially have my mailbox key, as it was never giving to me the mailbox owner.

I love this postal location. Any interaction I've had with the workers have been great. I drop packages off at least once a week and always greeted professionally and respectfully.

Fayetteville GA 30215We ordered a trolling motor. It was supposed to arrive March 25th before 8 pm. We were waiting and watching for this delivery. At 8 :36pm we get a notice that as per customer request it was brought back to the post office and I have to pick it up.When the postal delivery person dropped off our mail at 5:30 they didn't get out of the vehicle. And no other vehicles approach our home. Also I am disabled and can not walk very well and definitely can't carry a boxed up trolling motor. Why would I send it back? This has happened several times when it is a larger package.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews at this location. Went in today to return a prepaid package however I needed a receipt so I didn’t use the drop box. Everyone was very apologetic about the wait times which shows excellent customer service in my book. Mine u the line was moving quickly.

Do NOT mail a package from this location. It will disappear! There must be incompetent or dishonest employees working here.

Update: ***I want to mention that the manager I spoke to was named Roy on both days and HE was WONDERFUL. That man deserves a raise for all he must put up with. My issue is solely with the mail delivery person that drives all over my lawn and when asked to stop she said she would be leaving my packages that are supposed to be at my front door on the curb - disrespectful. My driveway has plenty of space to turn around in OR try using reverse? Common sense.
Original Review: I am so sad to report that my five star review is now a one star review. I usually have an amazing experience with our mail lady and we often wave to each other on days I'm home as she drops off our packages/mail. The last two days I happened to be home and see that she backed very much backwards and then forwards again into our yard/lawn to turn around in our driveway. Rather than reverse and not drive over our grass. For a year I've been noticing tire tracks in our yard so I got a security camera recently (screenshots from that attached below).
The manager called after I sent in my complaint online and I was apologetic for having to complain about it but at the same time there's literally no need for it. The manager told me to stop apologizing because they know better than to do that and that it won't happen again. The next day (yesterday) I again see the same mail van back up into my yard and again pull through forward into our lawn. I sent another complain form in just for the manager to call me today and tell me he was relaying to me from the driver that my complaint will cause issues when she has heavy packages and acting as if my packages will be left at the mail box or something. This is when I had had enough. The manager tried to be polite but he should have never let her relay anything other than an "I won't do it again" or an apology. Our issues have nothing to do with her using the driveway in an appropriate manner but she will not be sloppily driving in my yard. I am attaching screenshots from day one of her doing this, as well as the second day she did it again after being told by her manager not to. I will be escalating this concern now that I am getting excuses on why she can't use reverse to back out of our driveway or walk it up from the street if its an issue.

Another reason why this location has terrible reviews. The postal worker, as per their usual practice, delivered the package to the wrong address. Unfortunately, this time we were unable to retrieve it. Despite my wife's conversation with someone at the location (identity not disclosed unless necessary), we were informed that there is nothing they can do. They sent the postal worker back to the incorrect delivery address, but the homeowner feigned ignorance about the situation. According to the post office website, if a package is marked as delivered but not received, one should check with neighbors. The issue arises because the Post Office refuses to disclose the address of the residence where the misdelivery occurred. Given the perceived ineffectiveness of these employees, I am taking the matter into my own hands and filing a report with both the USIPS and the local police department.
