So I couldn't make a payment on my sister's account with her check she had written. The girl wouldn't let me make it with her debit card because my name wasn't on the card. We asked what the difference was if mailed it in, you still wouldn't have her here. Told her she wouldn't have known my name wasn't on the card if she hadn't asked. But she refused for me to make the payment. Makes no sense. She wouldn't call a manager when asked. She just went right passed that. L
LOWES TEACH YOUR CASHIERS PROPERLY!
SHE SHOULD HAVE LET ME MAKE THE PAYMENT WITH DEBIT!

I bought vegetable plants there twice that have died, both times!!!!! I will NEVER buy anything else from them!!!!!!! Lousy staff, just there for a paycheck!!!!!!

Do NOT shop this location if you need any type of manual assistance. I placed an order for 4 sets of blinds. The gentleman at pickup (from Philly) was so nice and accommodating. The issue came when we asked him where to go to get our blinds cut. He suggested that we go to the customer service desk to ask for someone to be paged, stating “there’s hardly anyone over there.”
I followed his suggestion and had someone call an associate to aisle 7 to cut blinds. I received a text thanking me for picking up my order at 6:13pm, about 5 minutes after I requested assistance with the blinds. After about another 10 minutes, my husband went back to the desk to request assistance again. They paged someone and still no one came.
The store was somewhat hot, I am 9 months pregnant, and having to stand and wait was unbearable. I ended up sitting on the rugs. Someone in a red vest walked past and my husband asked if he could get someone to help us. He paged someone. Still, no one came.
Another 7-10 minutes passed and I went back to the front to request a manager. The gentleman from pickup asked me if anyone ever came to help me and I said no. The ladies at the front desk were quick to call over the intercom for anyone to come to customer service. They called for managers on duty, any associate, and still… no one came.
Finally, around 6:50pm, Shawanda (MOD) came to the desk and asked the ladies if they’d called her. They directed her to us. She looked at us with disgust and said “Yes?” with no type of care or enthusiasm.
My husband shared that we’d been waiting for close to an hour for someone to cut our blinds. Shawanda continued to stare at us. I told her we just wanted to get our blinds cut. She huffed, rolled her eyes, and said “ok, follow me.” No apology. No care. Nothing. Just a physical embodiment of “IDGAF” and “I don’t care.”
Based on her horrible attitude and lack of willingness to offer an apology for the inconvenience, we just decided to get a refund for our purchase. Shawanda never said anything else to us; she just walked away.
We will NOT spend our money in any establishment where we are treated as if WE are the problem after WE’VE been inconvenienced. We understand that the day may have been long for her, but we didn’t deserve to be treated like we were the problem. If this is the attitude of the MANAGER, there needs to be some shifts in roles. A manager should never treat customers the way Shawanda treated us. And we’re not even people who feel like “the customer is always right” especially if the customer is in the wrong. We do, however, expect to be respected simply because we’re human.
And please, save the automated, ineffective response about “we hope you’ll give us another chance.” There needs to be CHANGE, especially with the recent reviews about the poor customer service. It seems like it’s starting from the top down. We must do better.

It pains me to leave a post about this store in fayetteville ga, but I have to.
Yesterday around noon I went to purchase a wheelbarrel and pool supplies. I would bump into an associate (Rick Mgr) in the back of the store who would nonchalantly direct me to where they are located.
I made my way there and found a wheel barrel for 29, I'm thinking that's a great price because I will use it 1 time and it will sit forever as with many things I buy from lowes.
I go to check out and the young lady tells me there is no wheel barrel for 29 the next one is 99. I chose the 99 thinking maybe I saw it wrong but when I went to pick it up, it was listed at 29. I call someone over and Rick along with an associate show up, the associate who was rude and somewhat aggressive initially attempted to accuse me or someone else of changing the price but when he tried to pick it up he couldn't and when he finally got it out there was no 1.
I took his picture and he said he would call the police, I told him to call because I would like to make this incident known. He never called. I asked Rick to call the Mgr at which time he informed me he was the only Mgr here. I asked how can we make this right( thinking he would just give me the initial wheel barrel and lose out on 30 dollars) he told me he couldn't do anything and I had to call corporate. I never picked up my wheel barrel cause I wanted this matter resolved. I called corporate and no supervisor would speak to me, Melvin (supervisor) told Linda customer service rep) I had to go back to the store, this went on for over an hour. I hung up and called back asking for a supervisor a customer rep eventually got a supervisor on the phone and she hung up.
Both times I waited for the customer service survey and there was no call back.
I am a disabled vet who has been extremely loyal to this location after 16 yrs this is the result of poor customer service that has been going down for the last 5 yrs.
I will also post everything on yelp and forward everything to as high as marvin ellison CEO to each and every person to Joel cogdell division president south division
Will be adding photos of all parties involved.(could not post, refer to yelp for pictures)
Update :
Well here is my update, the corporate office attempts to make it right failed. They offered me a gift certificate in the amount of 150 or 100 but I chose to have it donated to a veterans fund( mayb they did mayb they didn't), there was video footage which I assumed is the reason he tried, unfortunately like I told the gentleman in the beginning it was more about how I was treated in the store and on a corporate level.
I did refund my wheel barrel and quickly went to home depot signed up under the veterans program and purchased my wheel barrel. I wanted an apology. Mr Marvin Ellison ceo and emory alum, I hope you rectify 1 day soon cause after 20 home depot will get my money.

Such poor customer service. I went in to try to get a key made. I asked four associates sitting at a table if they could help me and they pointed me toward aisle 17. I get to 17 and there’s no one there so I asked a lady if she could help me. She said I’m only in merchandising. She said I don’t do that; Only people in red vest do that. I asked her can you call someone for me please? She said yes & she called someone. I stood there for another five minutes waiting on someone to call. No one came over. She came back and said no one has helped you. I said no still just waiting, she called again. No one came after another five minutes. Then I walked off and I saw a lady putting tags on merchandise. I asked her if she could help me. She said no that’s only hardware. She said I’ll pay someone I said ma’am I’ve been waiting over there for 10 minutes and they’ve paged several times and no one has come by. She said someone will come. I’ll page them at that point I just called customer service on my cell phone and they placed me on hold for five minutes and then I decided to just leave and as I was leaving there were four customer service representatives just standing at the self check out cracking jokes and laughing with each other. Awful customer service.

Called to verify stock of cedar mulch. I was told you had over 4 hundred bags. Drove almost an hour and was told zero stock. So after getting home today tried to order the mulch and was repeatedly sent to Fayetville store online saying pickup in store today. Called back there and they verified over 4 hundred bags in stocks. Needless to say lazy employees that don't do their job and I would never spend my money at this store. I recommend firing everyone and shutting down, never been treated so poorly with total disrespect and not caring to make a sale or take care of a xustomer.

Very disappointed in this Lowes. Called asked about mulch was told they had it, drove an hour, no mulch. Hard to get help at that store as well too!

Exceptional customer service! I went to Lowe’s because I ordered four bags of mulch when I got there Parker gently put the mulch in my trunk. I stated to him that I don’t think I need all of those bags. I’m only going to get two, with a smile, he suggested that I should keep them, because you never know with mulch. I returned the bags anyway and guess what he was right so I came back to Lowes and I was greeted by Darius at the front door with a welcoming smile, I told him the story and he was able to get Justin to assist me with getting the additional mulch. Justin was very kind. This is my first time at this location and it will not be my last. customer service and a welcoming smile is everything To the customer . Keep up the great work!
