***PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO PRICES WHEN ON SALE! JoAnn is currently running a buy 1, get 3 free sale on certain Christmas items. Everything I purchased was BOGO. By my calculations, I was spending $55.89 before taxes. She rang it up and it was $81.50. I paid and got home and pulled out receipt which shows everything on my receipt at 60% off, not 75%. Their signs clearly advertise buy 1, get 3 free. I called and spoke with Rachel and went back. Inconvenient, but this is almost a $30 difference. According to Rachel, this BOGO sale, if you get four items, each item IS 75% off, which will give the total price for one item. She returned everything and rerang them, refunded one item that was less than $2, and my total was still $80.13! Not 75% off of each of the four items at all, still 60% off!I kept asking about the BOGO and she said these items ARE a part of the BOGO, however, four of the same glitter picks at $9.99 each should have been $2.50 each (according to her) to give the $9.99 total, in order for the additional three to be free. She then showed me that they are $2.50 online and said that she made an error in telling me that they are $2.50 each IN-STORE. EVEN THOUGH SHE ACKNOWLEDGED THE BOGO SALE INSIDE OF THE STORE THAT IS CLEARLY ADVERTISED THROUGH SIGNAGE, each one of the glitter picks rang up $3.02 each. When I asked about the price, she said that it is what it is because it is programmed in the system that amount. That is a .52 difference, and that adds up to $12.08 total for the one pick being purchased, which is EVEN more than the initial $9.99, making it $2.09 more before taxes to be exact! So, I brought it home and calculated that I have overpaid $20.26 before taxes for BOGO items that are clearly advertised as buy 1, get 3 free. EVERY item on my receipt is 60% off cleverly disguised as buy 1, get 3 free!8 items at $1.99 should be $3.98; 4 items at $3.99 should be $3.99; 8 items at $2.99 should be $5.98; 8 items at $1.99 should be $3.98; 4 items at $4.99 should be $4.99; 4 items at $12.99 should be $12.99; 4 items at $9.99 should be $9.99 and another 4 items at $9.99 should be $9.99....instead items that are part of $1.99 bogo are .68 each, not .50 cents. So, the initial $1.99 for 4 items goes up to $2.72 (.73 difference) ; Items a part of $3.99 bogo are $1.36 each, not .99 each, so the initial $3.99 for 4 items goes up to $5.44 ($1.45 difference) ; items a part of the $4.99 bogo are $1.70 each, not $1.25, so the initial $4.99 goes up to $6.80 ($1.81 difference) ; items a part of the $12.99 bogo are $4.33(3) and $4.42(1), not $3.25 each, so the initial $12.99 goes up to $17.41 ($4.42 difference) ; items a part of $9.99 bogo are $3.40 each, not $2.50 each, so the initial $9.99 goes up to $13.60 ($3.61 difference)! Bait and switch. JoAnn just joined the list of stores that are taking from the very consumers who patronize them and keep them in business. Those are not small amounts and they add up. Doing this to people all day will bring in a nice amount of money to someone. Right, JoAnn? So...pay attention. All of it is going back to the store and I will stick with Hobby Lobby. I love that it is a Christian store, so I expect them to remain morally sound and not do stuff like this. Shame on you, JoAnn!

The lady cutting the fabric was very nice, but the cashier who was a young girl needs training in customer service.

Love the fact that they have weekly coupons it really helps. On another note, service isn't as good. it's not the worst but really can improve????????update 10/15/23 cashier# 697283 The young lady that runs the register is very helpful she always goes above and beyond to help every customer. I love her customer service and attitude. Just to give you a visual of her, she always has on the vest with all the pins on it. She needs a promotion and to be recognized by the leaders of the store and in Corporate⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I went here as a first timer. NEVER bought fabric or even stepped foot in a store like this but very interested in learning how to sew. The cashier, Ashley, was SUUUPER helpful!! She deserves a raise or something. She is the coupon lady and told me so much about deals/discounts here that I had absolutely no clue about! She has such a great spirit and I DEFINITELY will be coming back to this specific store because of her. I hope she’s there every time. I feel much more confident in my sewing journey.

This morning, I placed an order for an item online that said there were 7 in stock. The item was on sale for 40% off, and I used a 25% off coupon to pickup the item. About 2 hours after placing the order, I received an email that my order had been cancelled. Not understanding why it was cancelled, I called Joann and spoke to a manager who said that she was unable to locate the item. Something told me to go up there and look myself. Not even 2 minutes after walking into the store, I located all 7 of the items exactly where they were supposed to be located. After standing FOREVER in the checkout line, I explained the situation to the lady at the register and asked if I could receive my same discount. She told me she could apply the 40% discount but not the 25% discount and I would have to go online and place another order, but it would take at least an hour to process the online order and they would be closing soon. So basically I’d have to come back tomorrow. Mind you, I drove 30 minutes to purchase an item that SHOULD have been picked for me this morning. No empathy. No compassion. Just a straight-faced “Oh well”.I’m telling y’all, customer service is becoming non-existent nowadays. Customers are treated like a dime a dozen and until we stop spending our hard-earned money at these stores who don’t even value us and our patronage, it will only continue to get worse. I won’t be back here for a while.

They were short staffed, yet hard working and very pleasant. I was in line behind an "entitled" person who doesn't understand that these things DO happen. Yet the cashier did not let the customer's attitude sway her from doing her job. The cashier and person at the cutting table both need raises or a bonus....bravo!!!

Much more accommodating on a special request (fabric transfer from another store) compared to the Newnan store that is 2 miles away. The Fayetteville store has my business!

I do a lot of crafting. JoAnn is one of my go to places. They send me online coupons and I get the best use out of them. When you get a great sales person, they can remind you of online coupons that you don’t realize you have. I came home smiling during my last trip happy with the money I saved.
