On 3/4/24 I had my taxes prepared by Mr.Johann Reckley. He was very professional, very detailed, Super friendly, and made my first visit very welcoming. He did an amazing job preparing my taxes breaking down everything about my 2023 tax return going the call of duty for me. In addition, the entire staff was amazing. Definitely recommend!!! Last year I had a horrible experience with a tax associate he had my SSN wrong and my gross income was wrong the whole experience was not good. But JJR truly delivered not only did he make the process easy, but he was thorough, and his team was very helpful with executing the assignments. They're one big happy family in my opinion and that's what I need to continue to have a successful relationship overall. So again I highly recommend ?.

My daughters and I went to Mr. Johann for the first time and we were thoroughly please not just with his work ethic but the entire experience. Although we were late, he still took us and made us feel welcome. I must say this new relationship was exactly what I was looking for. Our old tax accountant died, and I felt like I lost a spouse or a doctor. However, Mr. Johann made me feel like I have always known him. He also knew his business and his staff work very well alongside him to get things done and they execute it all the way to the end. I found my new tax accountant aman.

I just moved to GA from the north mid last year and bought a house and also got married. I had to file for 3 different states plus my tax status was changing to married filing jointly. Rather than doing it myself, I decided to hire a professional as I felt it was very complicated to do myself (I was wrong on the complexity, it was rather straightforward once you understand what needed to be done). I went to this company JJR and had them do my taxes and when I needed to make my payments it’s when I started seeing mistakes. My wife’s income was switched with mine in a state she hasn’t worked in 6 years. The total amount I had to pay GA was $400 more than what I was told by this JJR from a letter GA sent and the total for the IRS was $236 less than what I was told through another letter sent. But going back to the income mistake between my wife. I contacted JJR via email about this mistake and was told that we didn’t need to file an amendment and I could pay the bill under my name, not my wife so I did. This week my wife gets a letter from that state asking for the payment I made under my account. I had to send them a bunch of paperwork explaining what happened why she was put down as having income in that state where she hasn’t worked in 6 years. I’m currently waiting for them to respond back. I paid 6x more for JJR’s services vs what I would have paid using TurboTax to have my taxes done by a local professional tax company and they royally screwed me over. As a first time customer, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication when I had questions via email about my taxes and the inconsistencies as well as the lack of diligence in preparation of my taxes and the amount of headache it has caused. From my experience, I don’t recommend JJR’s services and I’ll never do business with them again.

I used there services after moving from California to Georgia. I paid Johann to do my taxes for years I missed. We got those done but I later had a tax issue and I was completely ignored. Stay far away from this guy and his company. I thought we were building a good business relationship but I guess my business was not good enough.

Everything started off great with Johann. He was recommended by a trusted colleague that gave me his mobile number. (Who's also having communication issues, btw) Paid $1400 to rectify 4 years of back taxes. No, he didn't go the distance to maximize my refund, but that's another story. My problem - unless you're a major client or business owner that may have recurring tax liability on a monthly basis, you can forget about any customer service after you've filed your taxes with Mr. Reckley, as an individual. Right now, because of his inadequate communication since April 2021, I'm looking at over $2300 in unpaid taxes because my 2017 taxes weren't mailed to me. Further it wasn't made clear, I needed to download the documents I signed to mail them myself vs him telling me his admin was sending me the documents! And to take it further, the 10+ calls, messages and text messages went largely unanswered over the last few months to help me understand what needed to happen! I paid a CPA because I'm NOT a CPA, to trust their counsel. I will NOT recommend this firm if you're expecting Mr. Reckley to volunteer counsel on the paid service after he's done work. He's wiped his hands and on to the next - blaming his inadequate corresponce to 24/7 meetings! I got around to locating his office number (which he could have advised me to do months ago if he was that busy) and spoke to Juliette who was an absolute jewel in getting me closer to closure with this issue. She help me more in a single day than Johann has done in 4 months. Finally, after months of trying to chase this down, his admin team got to the bottom of it and mailed my returns. Fingers crossed that this resolves my tax liability. Very unhappy and I will never use, nor recommend his services to anyone!

JJR & Associates have been a life saver this year with my taxes. The process was smooth and time efficient. Johann is very patient and communicative throughout the entire process. As a first time client my overall experience has been a 10/10 along with fair prices. I highly recommend his services and I will be returning next year and the years following.

This is my 2nd year going to JJR & Associates. What can I say... them make me feel like family. They remembered things from last year. The service was quick but not rushed. They have a client for life. Highly recommended.
