I brought my fur baby here for grooming. IT WAS THE BEST EVER! The staff were all friendly funny and welcoming. Informed me every step of the way. The groomer took her time to discuss my pets needs before and after his session and gave recommendations on his suggested grooming schedule. My baby was so happy and energetic and he has always been really docile after a grooming experience. This is a fear free location and they will not do anything to stress your baby. BIG THANKS TO THE ENTIRE STAFF!!!

I am a first time dog owner of a 5 week old pit and this has been by far the best service I have received in a long time. Not only was the receptionist who answered the phone and gave me a same day appointment awesome she was very patient and welcoming. All the staff was awesome but especially doctor Holland he is so great I wish he was my doctor. I am so happy to have found a great veterinary office for my new family member piper?

Our kitten was full of life and energy before we brought her to this vet. She was screened for underlying diseases and we were told she was fine. We paid to have her recieve the recomended vaccines, and as expected, she begain experienceing some side effects. We waited two days for these to clear up and she didn't get any better. On day three we took her back and we were told that this is was normal. Luna died on day four. Going through the reviews on this place, I'm seeing at least one other instance of them overdoseing someone's pet. I'm pretty sure Luna would still be alive if we hadn't taken her here.
*update*
After speaking on the phone with this office, they stated that Luna had intestinal abnormalities and needed an x-ray. To clarify, this was NOT stated during her follow up visit; we would have gladly had it done if it was stated. Money was no object when it came to Luna's health. The call consisted of a manager at the office imagining various causes of Luna's death in an effort to convince me that they were not responsible. They also had the nerve to offer us $5 and some change, and after that, I was done with them. If you value the life and health of your pet, do not bring them to the Fayette Veterinary Medical Center.

I lost my healthy pet kitten Luna yesterday due to the negligence of this vet, we had Dr. Martin. She was a kitten that was very healthy and energetic before she came in for her first shots. Before her shots she was just on dewormer to clear out the worms she had when she was born. After a week it was all clear, she was fine. Then it was time for her first shots. The doctor I had suggested dewormer again along with her shots. I thought it was a lot for a baby and she was already clear from worms but was advised and reassured this procedure was normal and part of the process. They never checked her insides for more worms before starting the treatment. If they had checked I would have never went with their advice of doing multiple things at once. My Luna never recovered and passed away. The customer service was good but the particular doctor I had didn't really pay attention to her treatment. Luna would have been fine if it was shots only. I wish the doctor we had would have paid more attention to her treatment. They can't say they didn't know about the dewormer so soon because they have on record what they gave to me and when. We saw more progress with Luna on our own than in the care of the doctor that was supposed to help her. My husband also wrote a review. We are both heartbroken because we were very cautious with every step of the way with this little one. I will not be trusting this vet for any further care with any future pets.
Edit due to response: that is not how you all presented the issue. The doctor did not explain in detail of other underlying issues that could have been contributing to her illness. That day he kept asking several times if she ate something bad which I reconfirmed several times that her eat areas were clean which is why I only went with the medicine to settle her stomach. If the doctor had explained in clearer detail while I was sitting there that she needed to be looked at further because it could be an organ issue then that should have been explained. It's YOUR job to tell ALL ISSUES AS POSSIBLE that could be have been the cause. I was there to get my pet better, money was no problem. I hope anyone reading this review questions every step of the way when it comes to pet health
