It’s annoying that I constantly have to show my ID, even get it out the car if I leave it, when you clearly check it a few times a week and know I’m over 21 for tobacco, only for my roommate to tell me the same exact workers never ID her.

So, on a whim we went off the beaten path looking for something good to eat, yelp led us here, and I thought "oh God gas station BBQ" Well I was wrong and I have never been so happy to be so wrong. Frank and Leonard were both there. The place was in full swing Don't let the cozy/cramped appearance fool ya, this place is crazy good! As a person who has had good or Great BBQ from all over (Texas, LA, KY, GA, AL, SC, St louis, Memphis and both sides of NC; this one ranks at or near the top. The Ribs were tender and flavorful, the pulled pork Divine, the chicken was amazing, sausage that made you yell mmm good, but the Brisket was legendary!! (and that's just what I tried) But don't stop there, the sides were tremendous (green beans, Cajun, creamed corn, cheese & Mac , and potato salad that would make you look at your momma different). And of course Brunswich stew which was a stew NOT a side. And two sauces made fresh one sweet and one spicy(just the right amount of kick to maximize the flavor of the food). I can not say enough good things about the groups good food. So full!!! If I am ever even near this place again a road trip diversion is planned!!

Trash is always full or overflowing. Pumps are frequently broken. Water for cleaning windshield is often black. They usually have regular gas, but run out far too often.

I worked near here and would spend my whole lunch break here. Uncle Frank is the best BBQ cook in town!!! You can get some gas and GREAT FOOD!

Soooooo good. I got a chance to get a sample of almost reverting on the menu. It's all great! The sausage and the brisket were my favorite. Yum!

The brisket is so tender and delicious. Make sure to get extra sauce. Beef links are juicy and taste heavenly. Smoked chicken is flavorful and tastes great with the sauce. The sides are always fresh: beans with no meat, corn, greens. Serving sizes are excellent for individual servings or family (just tell them the #of people). The smoker is outside and they start early in the morning and it smells divine. Staff is friendly, funny, and sweet. Great food to take home and enjoy.
