I love the 2 afternoon/night employees. Also the owners are very nice. I love the eatery, Uncle Frank's and his employees. They are good people. I just like this store, I go there regularly.

So, on a whim we went off the beaten path looking for something good to eat, yelp led us here, and I thought "oh God gas station BBQ" Well I was wrong and I have never been so happy to be so wrong. Frank and Leonard were both there. The place was in full swing Don't let the cozy/cramped appearance fool ya, this place is crazy good! As a person who has had good or Great BBQ from all over (Texas, LA, KY, GA, AL, SC, St louis, Memphis and both sides of NC; this one ranks at or near the top. The Ribs were tender and flavorful, the pulled pork Divine, the chicken was amazing, sausage that made you yell mmm good, but the Brisket was legendary!! (and that's just what I tried) But don't stop there, the sides were tremendous (green beans, Cajun, creamed corn, cheese & Mac , and potato salad that would make you look at your momma different). And of course Brunswich stew which was a stew NOT a side. And two sauces made fresh one sweet and one spicy(just the right amount of kick to maximize the flavor of the food). I can not say enough good things about the groups good food. So full!!! If I am ever even near this place again a road trip diversion is planned!!

Trash is always full or overflowing. Pumps are frequently broken. Water for cleaning windshield is often black. They usually have regular gas, but run out far too often.

I worked near here and would spend my whole lunch break here. Uncle Frank is the best BBQ cook in town!!! You can get some gas and GREAT FOOD!
