“Dollar General you are the true hero of our Okefenokee Swamp visit.It's been a few years since we were in Fargo. At that point the only places to buy things were the gas station or the cafe. When we pulled into town at 10:00 at night and saw your golden sign still lit up we were so excited! Having you in town makes a visit to Stephen C. Foster so much more convenient!You're truly the biggest Dollar General I have ever been in. I love your extra large refrigerator and freezer section. When we discovered the cafe in town closed earlier than advertised, we were able to buy everything we needed to make spaghetti for dinner at our cabin - frozen ground turkey, noodles, sauce... We even bought a cheesecake from you for our dessert!Other things we realized we didn't have... Somehow we forgot sunscreen, and y'all hooked us up, we bought sandwich fixings, a flat of bottled water and some ice cold drinks after a hot and humid day in the swamp.On our last day, we realized we didn't have anything to put our sandwiches in that we were taking on the road, so we wrapped them in paper towels from our cabin and put them in... Dollar General bags!Thanks for making our swamp trip successful!”
