Since Hurricane Helene, our family has been unable to work or do anything else that requires the internet.
Customer service is rude and dodges every question about the status.
Providing a 10-20$ credit is not sufficient. Thanks to xfinity I am now having to use vacation time since it's going on 3 weeks. They do not care and their technicians are Not fixing anything.

Do not consider Xfinity for any services unless they are the absolute last option.
I ordered new internet services several months ago for our new house that is being built near Thomson, Georgia, and finally had an appointment today (September 23, 2024). I was told two weeks ago that my service would be completely installed today. However, the technician arrived on time and could not do anything because no preliminary work had been done -- i.e., none of the outside work had been done yet. The best he could tell me was that xfinity would contact me within the next three weeks to do the installation outside, and another appointment would be made later to complete inside. An escalation specialist finally told me that the outside work (pre-bury) was scheduled for September 26 and the inside work would be done on October 4. Courtney even gave me a number for Dispatch -- who told me that they are not the pre-bury team but the team that comes behind and buries the cable to the house. That cannot be done until the cable is connected, which it is not.
Bottom line: I do not trust xfinity to accomplish this, but they are my only choice out there. No one at the company has any clue what they are doing, and will tell you anything just to get you off the phone.
Edit: That includes this ridiculous link which the "owner" posted below. I waited 15 minutes for an answer on the first try to get anyone. Waste of time!

I have been doing business with Xfinity for four years now I had some unexpected events happening in my life that put me in a financial bind at the age of 20 so I quickly had to improvise before I left Texas. The people here are very understanding, and professional individuals who could answer any questions I had regarding extending a phone bill or college discounts with them because this was my second phone carrier and I was in the process of starting and paying for college and other bills. It's a relief to know that good people are here to help!! When Hardships arose this cellar provided me a new view of hope! Good people are here to help I will gladly continue you to use Xfinity's services the prices are worth it because of the extremely top-notch agents Thank You

I have had numerous issues for the last four days with my Xfinity service and had been working with Xfinity representatives on their chat site to resolve them, but it only got worse. This morning I went to the Evans Xfinity office and spoke with Courtney. She listened to all of my issues and then, within minutes, she resolved every issue. Courtney is professional, intelligent and a person who should be commended and rewarded for a truly great experience. Thank you, Courtney!!!!

Nathan (Joel) was exceptional! We encountered issues with our internet service, and despite three other technicians attempting to resolve it without success, Mr. Nathan dedicated two hours and gave his absolute best effort. I highly recommend reaching out to him for your next service needs!

I had difficulty transferring my cell phone carrier to Xfinity. I spent an entire day on the phone with Xfinity overseas tech support and each person told me to do something different. Still, I had no phone service since the previous carrier had deactivated the account. I went to the Xfinity store and was helped by Khalik Young and Elijah Swinney. They were courteous, professional, experienced and so helpful. I was able to get my phone service activated with their assistance. I highly recommend using the Xfinity store in Evans, Georgia rather than deal with incompetent tech support staff on the phone!

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Didn't even attempt to address my issue. Immediately became condescending and outright rude. Courtney shouldn't be representing Xfinity at all, let alone part of the management team.

To be clear, this review is ONLY for this specific location. Xfinity as a company is great for our mobile service. Our service for our phones is great, the bill is inexpensive, but do NOT go to this location if you need some help. Go to the store in Augusta on Robert C Daniel instead. They have actual humans who listen to you and actually help you in Augusta. The manager, Desiree is no help at all. I called the 800 number after leaving the Evans location and the CSR told me that what I needed to do had to be processed in the store… went to the other location and was in and out within 10 minutes as a happy customer. I live much closer to the Evans location, but will be making the longer drive in the future just to keep my sanity.

Awful customer service. Three visits to the store and over twelve hours collectively on the phone with customer-no-service based overseas and issue remains unresolved. Both John and Khalil in this store were rude and totally unhelpful. Sold a phone and line that they continue to charge me for but cannot seem to figure out how to activate service on. Was finally told I would have to file a dispute with my bank or seek legal recourse as they couldn’t figure out how to either give me a refund or activate the service they charged me for. Their ineptitude will now result in having to file suit against Xfinity to get my money back.
