Professional! Reliable experts, knowledgeable techs, clear communication. My favorite vet hospital among all vet hospitals I've been through of 3 different states?

Horrible customer service. While the technicians and actual vets are great, the ladies in the front are horrible. Appointments mean absolutely nothing so when you show up, plan on 30+ minutes wait before you get into a room. Don't go here if you need to be seen in a reasonable time.

I was a first time customer. The website said to arrive 10 minutes early, once I arrived I called the number to check in. You wait in your car before you appointment which was very exciting since you go straight into your room and they didn't let people wait in the waiting room. However I waited in my car for over 30mins and then got a call to come in. There two dogs are in the waiting room.... This was a huge waste of my time and very unprofessional. My appointment that was at 12 began around 12:30.
I saw Dr. Green. The vet tech was very nice as well as the doctor. However it was just a rushed service. They took the dog individually to draw blood and take weigh which has just never been done before. They gave her a shot with me on the other side of the room which is not what she has ever done before. She had a bad reaction, and the next suggestion was to mussel and take her to the back. I just had a poor experience, I wish I could speak highly to the veterinary care however I didn't see any of it. Mediocre and rushed experience.

I’ve just switched my second dog over to Hilltop because their service is excellent. The vet takes the time to talk to you instead of rushing and the techs are very friendly and professional. The vet quickly identified that my dog’s knee bone was likely the reason for his limp and used visual aids to explain it (my last vet did not identify the issue for two years). Their vet comes across as very knowledgeable and caring towards my dogs. As a former dental hygienist, I was happy with the cleaning they did. I’ve noticed they are a bit more expensive than the last clinic I went to, but the quality of care is worth it.

Don’t let the tongue fool you ? We had the absolute best experience with Dr. Scholer and his staff. From the minute we stepped in, they were accommodating and friendly. It was evident that Dr. Scholer and his tech were knowledgeable and really take their time with both pets and their humans. Our dog is grateful for the care that she receives at Hill Top and so are we!

I highly recommend Hilltop Animal hospital and especially Dr. Scholer. He’s very compassionate and thorough and took very care of my furbaby Percy in his third bladder stone surgery. He did a great job of working with us in changing Percy’s diet to try and prevent this again, although he was already on the prescription dog food that was supposed to prevent it.

My Sassy has been seeing Doc Sholar at Hilltop for close to five years. My daughter found Sassy on the streets starving, scared, wet, and hungry. She brought straight to me and her dad. He was still heart broken over the loss of his lil buddy Kyser so he was a lil bitty bit upset she did that, knowing I would not turn her away . His actions made me say to my daughter I’m sorry but I can’t take her. Well I slept on it and the next morning I told him , I’m sorry but I’m keeping that baby. We did all the right things and put pics on internet, posts flyers and emails out . No one answered YAYYYYY !!
Fast forward to about 9 months and something broke out on her chest. I called
Alot of vets but no one would take her. Hilltop is a lil ways away but they said yes bring her right in. There the love bloomed. She had allergies, that in itself is a five year story. I tell Doc I should have named her CASH !!! But doc is always so nice and
ALWAYS fixes what’s ailing her. I am crazy about the entire staff. Sassy on the other hand will sit and pout. The calling the next day to check on ur pet I think is so sweet. The entire place is awesome. When I call and say Hey it’s Patsy Sassys mom they know who I am . Give Doc a try hes GREAT, kind, gentle and so so friendly.
P.S. second pic is us at Hilltop, she would not turn and look at me no matter how sweet I talked . AKA POUTING
