This has been the best experience I've had throughout all my home renovation projects. The entire process was exceptional from the initial estimate to the competed cabinets. My cabinets had this terrible plastic vinyl coating (instead of paint) that was starting to get torn and ripped. These guys were able to make my cabinets look like new again. They were always on time, communicated everything, and really just made the process worry free for me. Thank you for all your hard work, I will forever recommend you to all my friends for their painting needs.

Husband and I are so happy with the process and business from the beginning. Meeting the owner, getting the quote and calling to keep us informed was a breath of fresh air. The painters Dylan, Bruce and Jr called us every morning before heading to our home. They were careful with our furniture, worked diligently, were courteous and cleaned up after. Oh they reminded us we have a warranty too.Our home looks amazing with the help of A Cut Above Painting. Thank you!We will call on them when we get ready to finish the rest of rooms and downstairs. We highly recommend this amazing business!PS Before and after burnt orange then bright beautiful ...

Mike and crew were awesome from the beginning to end. A Cut Above was fair in bidding and I had way more than the recommended 3 quotes for our exterior job. It was Mikes personal touch and attention detail and genuine care that won the bid. The crew that painted the exterior went above and beyond and took extra care to make sure everything looked fantastic. We can't be more excited with the end results and definitely will be calling A Cut Above for other jobs in the near future. Highly recommend to anyone!

Great experience. Very responsive and reasonably priced. We had a shift in schedule and had to work around other contractors last minute. Other contractors even commented on the great communication and ability to work around others.Service: Interior painting

I can’t say enough about the beautiful job A Cut Above did for us. We had several things done, such as the front doors, column, railing, and the ceilings over the entryways and deck. Our wood-stained ceilings had weathered over the years. A Cut Above restored and refreshed them. They look gorgeous. Highly recommend.Services: Metal painting

Michael was so great! He took all the pressure off and helped us choose colors (which seemed so overwhelming to me!) He also was so great to help coordinate other services we needed. 10 out of 10 recommend!

A Cut Above does excellent work, is fairly priced, and has professional and friendly workers. The professional painters were timely, accommodating, hard-working and even cleaned up after themselves. It's great to hire someone to do a job and have your expectations met and exceeded. After paint was applied in my kitchen, I realized it didn't coordinate with other colors in the area. We were able to switch to a different color with no issues or complaints. I would definitely hire them again for other painting jobs in my home.

A Cut Above Painting just completed painting the outside of home! I was very pleased with their professionalism and doing what they say they were going to do. My house now looks great. They took extra care in preventing paint drips on our outside pool deck and pool house floor. Justin and David were a pleasure to work. The two and the crew were over the top with their promotion of customer satisfaction. A Cut Above Painting has become my go to paint contractor. They are the best in the CSRA from one having over 52 years of construction experience! You should give them a try and you to will be just as pleased as I am.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. I called them without much notice needing things painted because someone was interested in looking at our house prior to it being put on the market. They worked us in and did a fantastic job. We were unsure of cost due to our time restraints but were pleasantly surprised with the price. The work was top notch. Will definitely use again.

A Cut Above Painting was professional and courteous. Communication was excellent, and the team was punctual. Michael is knowledgeable and went the extra mile to get our cabinets completed. John and his team treated our cabinets as if they were going into their own home. If an area needed more attention, they pointed it out before we even noticed and had a solution already in process. A Cut Above exceeded our expectations! We will enjoy staring at these cabinets for years to come. Thank you!

This will be a long review for A Cut Above Painting (Evans). I feel that details are important considering the expense and caliber of the services they offer.I'll start with our Project Manager. He didn't exactly lead me to feel comfortable or excited about the project during our initial walkthrough. He sort of just waited for me to say things, to which he'd give some reluctant response. I'd sum it up as an odd, subtle standoffish-ness. Like he didn't want to be there. He sometimes wouldn't reply to messages. Everybody else in the crew was upbeat and friendly though.I was quoted two days for the project. The first day was to remove popcorn ceiling from the living room and master bedroom, and the second day would be to paint walls/trim (not wainscoting). The project ended up taking four business days. With each delay we told ourselves we were glad they were taking their time to do a good job, but by the end it was clear that corners were cut nonetheless. Our wainscoting was not protected, and is now covered in little color speckles across the entire perimeter, making it look permanently dirty. Blue streaks across 10 out of 13 outlets. Blue speckles all over my TV which they smeared around with a rag (ugh!). Very rough ceiling work everywhere except our master ceiling (which did turn out nice, hence the 2 stars). Our fireplace mantel and some other trim got rogue paint streaks. Our office got its first coat without ANY nail holes getting filled (I had to point it out to be corrected). The original wall color shows through in certain areas, leading us to wonder if we even got a second coat in the living room. With the timeline extension, our project manager assured us they'd clean up the house for the weekend (we'd been holed up in the guest bedroom with our pets the whole time). But when they left, we came out to MASSIVE amounts of dust everywhere. They had been sanding the ceilings in loosely tented work areas while the unobstructed vents pushed the dusty air out of all the large holes/gaps. There was a layer of fine drywall dust everywhere except select pieces of furniture draped in plastic. My kitchen, tablecloth/chairs, fabric benches, elliptical, bedding, blinds, rugs, wainscoting etc. etc. etc. were covered in dust. Worst yet, my wood floors were (are still) caked in the white powder in many areas between planks despite lots of vacuuming. More than anything, I wish they had protected my floors. Also, I had asked our PM on Friday if they could put our couch and TV/stand back. He didn't hear me I guess, so we didn't have our living room over the weekend.I texted my PM to tell him about the floors, and all the dust everywhere. I sent a picture of the floor, and one of a dusty sidetable just to show what I was talking about. He had the nerve to tell me "We wiped and dusted most areas. I apologize that table got missed". I can only think of like three surfaces that looked "wiped", so honestly that really set me off. I felt that was extremely disingenuous.I've watched lots of popcorn removal videos (as we were considering DIY-ing the bedroom) and they all said vacuum sanders should be used. I asked him if they used vacuum sanders or any sort of filtration system, and he ignored the question. Also, when the owner came to give us our quote, we discussed a few particular settlement lines in the living room walls that we wanted to have fixed, which he led us to believe would be no problem. This was also discussed with our Project Manager. Only one of these spots got any attention, and it looks so much worse than it did before. Smoothing out those spots was an important aspect of the project to us, and if we had known they wouldn't fix these spots, we absolutely would have looked for a different company.I was repeatedly assured our floors would be fixed and the dust cleaned up, but neither happened. I'm hoping the owner will take an interest in our negative experience, because I don't think our Project Manager could care less.
