Disappointed and ashamed with my experience with TJ Auto repairs and detailers.
I'd been quoted reasonable prices by Tj for my car. Reluctant to follow through with the service, I was told to pay upfront, in total spending close to 10k. For work to be done on my car FORD XR6 such like, paint, new wheels and rims, vinyl, brake Tiffany, exhaust, and few detailings.
I'd been told work would be done to the car around 2 weeks, however when asking for updates their was several delays.
Once the car had had been buffed and painted, so called new tyres and rims installed. From they considered half the work done. I was booked in to come inspect the car so they can tape my reaction.
I was able to take the car home and paint had to set and dry. Evidently taking further inspections from other professionals it was evident the work done was not close to the value or interpretation to what I paid. Rims & wheels were repainted not new, body paint was coming off, peices of interior hanging, no polish to paint job.
I got intouch with TJ, voicing my experience and concerns, he ignored my messages, left me on seen. Days later simply respondjng with arrogance saying he worked hard, I won't find better elsewhere, he was quick with service.
I was instructed to bring the car back to get the remaining work done like exhaust, Rim& wheels, paint protection and other minor workings including my concerns.
I made numerous bookings, furthermore driving the car from the other side of Adelaide at a arranged time for the shop to be closed. I called his number and he said he was out of adelaide.
During the course of a month, he'd done 2 trips, delaying the work he preached. Furthermore not upholding his word.
Disgusted and disappointed with the service now. Hence writing my bad experience with the service.
Please if you value your money, look around for reputable businesses, DO NOT pay all amounts upfront. Please inspect with an experienced or professional to make sure what you ask for is delivered. Don't be naive thinking everyone has morals and trust, some people only want to make money out of you!
