With several branches the one you opened account at us the only can handle certain issues. They capitalize tremendously off of fees especially overdraft after a specified period of time. Customer service is horrible you'll get passed around like a hot potato. Their practices and policies are seemingly unethical and down right demonic, duplicitous, and deceptive. Wouldn't recommend this financial institution to my deceased dog.

This bank has questionable business practices. I have had money taken out of my account and no real explanation given as to why and how this could have happened. Stolen money off of a checking account. In talking to others in the community I understand this has happened to them also. One of the victims was from a nearby town . They should be audited! Also while trying to get into my safety deposit box I had to tell the employee there that I needed to be alone. She let me inside while someone else was in their box and another person in the room trying to repair a box. I had to go back out to wait which is fine but then she went to ask another employee if I was right about the policy then corrected me as though I asked to go while the other person had her valuables out. She asked other employees too many questions as though she needed training prior to being the floor. Terrible bank and we are closing our accounts and going with South State!

Pinnacle of rudeness and incompetence. Call center will make you miserable trying to get simple information. Customer of over 15 years, closing this account very soon.
