I've had problems with Walmart in Eatonton Georgia before, returning defective items, being stopped and checked to see if I shoplifted (really pissed me off) and the cleanliness of store as well as unhelpful employees (can't blame them at their salaries) but this really did it for me. I'm disabled and shopping is once a month and quite a chore. I spent almost three hours getting my monthly groceries and a few other needed items and when I tried to check out it said it was unable to validate. I tried several times before I asked for help. "Oh well, I guess the system down" was the help I got. went to Milledgeville Walmart and was surprised at the difference. wide aisles, well stocked and knowledgeable helpful employees. Goodbye forever Eatonton Georgia Walmart!

I like this Walmart. I'm new in town, but they have everything you need. Neat and clean. Also, very friendly staff.

Truly the worst place to shop in the area. Drive the extra distance to Madison. You'll be in and out much quicker.

For starters, I was staying optimistic about the previous reviews, however soon after my arrival, I asked a gal where I can find what I was looking for. After asking my question, she looked up from her phone and gave me the most disrespectful response possible to a loyal customer. She then proceeded to look back down at her phone and walk away. I did end up going to the place that she said the product I was looking for was, and it wasn't there. After my unsatisfying shopping journey, I made it to the check out counter and I needed a staff members verification for my age because I was buying spray paint for a project, and you need to be 18 or older to purchase. So I showed her my ID and proved that I am well over the age of 18. After this she still pressed the NO button on the digital screen. Meaning that my stay was prolonged because of a staff members incompetence. So in conclusion, its a party in there.

Hands down the worst Walmart I have ever been to. When you walk in, it's more like a party/social club. Their are a few friendly helpful folks that work there, but they are few and far between. The shelves are generally disorganized and often times bare. I had an issue with a return, and was mislead by both the staff at this store, and even the managers. I called the corporate office number and was informed that they would take my return and I just needed to speak with the store manager. I called the store, and was on hold for 20 minutes, so I just started driving to the store. I was on hold for 45 minutes, while sitting in customer service waiting for a manager. When the manager finally showed up he was rude, disrespectful and acted like he couldn't of cared less about my issue. I will not be spending anymore of my money at this location, if I need to go to Walmart I will just drive the extra 15 miles or so to the one in Madison. I don't know if it's corporate greed, or just laziness, but this store needs leadership for sure.

Just stop to try to get a fishing license, the girl behind the counter could not remember her I'd to get on the computer the assistant manager's I'd wasn't working. Spent a whole 20 minutes to find out I am not getting a fishing license. Nice way to start the weekend, drove 2 hours to go to the lake to fish and now I can't fish; way to go Walmart. I learned my lesson not to go to Walmart to get a fishing license.
