Pretty ghetto tbh, kids fight all the time, someone stole my car from the parking lot. Maintenance will BANG on your door even if you ask them to go away. Neighbor would throw trash in front of my door and even tried to fight me once, I had to get a gun ?. I moved from there and it was the happiest day of my life.

Welp, I’m finally out of here and I thought it was fitting to leave a review. I’ve lived out here two different times that spanned over about 9 yrs. Overall from my prospective the apartments a relatively quiet. As far as crime, I think the shootings have subsided over the years but of course there is still crime. I had my car stolen and they do break into cars but that’s happening all over. Any issues I’ve had in the appartment, maintenance responds promptly. I think the office could do a better job as far as everyone being on the same page but overall the team is ok. They keep the apartments well kept and clean. Over all, I would recommend this place for living.

Where do I start?? I went to visit a friend and had my car broken into. I contacted the leasing office which they seemed to not care at all and just said call east point police Department. I called and all they did was give several of us case numbers.(It was several cars affected) Just weeks later my friend said that several cars including themselves cars were broken into yet again. Its not cheap to keep replacing windows when all they need to do is get some lighting in the parking lot and hire some SECURITY! This is getting to the point where the news stations should get involved because the leasing office doesn't care because they dont have to live here. And lets not mention the shootings daily in this community. Please dont move here because they dont care about their residents only RENT!

Do not move over here. They break into cars every other night the leasing office don't do anything about it. Only thing they say is that they are sorry this happen. In the back of 1790 building by nasty dumpster the lights have been out over a year. They want us to call east point about them we have called and called. I feel like the leasing office should be responsible of it not your tenant's. There is shooting ever other night. You need to hire security or have police over here

I made a post about the apartments and i found out there was no funny business going on. Even though no one would break down the situation to me as to why others were able to retain their lease and I wasn't, there still was no funny business. I still stand by it being wrong to up rent $300.00 only after having the property for a year and me just moving here in 2021..the year they bought it. I'll still say what's right. They do need a cleaning crew that cleans the property daily and opens the workout room. The apartments are still cool it's just a lot of shooting and breaking into cars; if you can deal with that then you're good.

Management is very rude do not care about their tenants , have your car towed when they know there’s no where to park why are we paying RENT where we STAY for our cars to get towed because there’s no where to park , it’s ALREADY dangerous out there who’s going to park a mile a away when cars already getting broke into & STOLEN tags are also getting stolen , you name it … it has happen at village of highlands KIDS can’t even play outside on the PLAYGROUND they provide , because there’s shootings in broad daylight. But have the nerve to be going up on rent , they are ridiculous! Wouldn’t recommend!!

I've been living here at Village Highlands for six months and my experience have been a pleasure. When ever I report any issues with my unit(in which have been minor things) , maintenance will come out that same week. They keep they landscaping up and the property up to part. They have a playground for your kids pleasure as well as a pool to cool off in in the summer time. The pool water ? stay pretty at all times so for me I want to get in there even when it's chilly outside(Just saying)?♀️?. The community is overall on my "A" list, so if your looking for a place to call home stop by the leasing office. The staff carry a professional demeanor and your not far from Wayfield, Walmart, Maxway and a host of places to eat. Stop by Greasy Sleezy on Campbellton Road by the Cash American Pawn Shop. They sell some good shrimp and fish. They have a variety on the menu. The evening cook is the Bomb and while your waiting for your food you can Shop for some Hookah products or a Hookah it self. Miracles and blessings.
