I inquired about getting a price on a part thru their website. I get the price the next day with that same part number on the invoice. It took them 10 days to locate and remove the part which in my opinion is excessive but no big deal.I receive the package finally, part looks similar but is not the same, the part number is completely different and the part does not fit. I send an email and the response I get is "that is the only option we have, we can issue a refund". You sure will. Will you also issue a refund for the time lost of the machine being down for almost 3 weeks while we counted on you to send the part we inquired about after you confirmed you have? Very bad experience. Big waste of time.

Absolute horrendous dealing with these people, we are a Industrial trucks company that do regular rebuilds, we had a shot drive unit out of a toyota and decided to see if we can get a good used unit, i was told this used drive unit was turning by hand and in usable condition before they sent it to us. Once arrived we found the unit was completely seized inside NOT AT ALL able to turn by hand and was gouged 1000$ plus shipping for basically a scrap unit. this was a complete waste of time and money because now we need to completely rebuild this one and we are back to square one. my advice, save your time and money, and stay away from this place.

wrote this letter to absolute life parts and sent to 3 different email, no response or even acknowledgement. very rude people. Dear Mrs. Cindy Vickers, I am writing to you because of something that happened yesterday with your company Absolute Lift Parts. I contacted Absolute Lift Parts last week through your web site to inquire about a Toyota 8 series forklift seat your company had available. I was interested in purchasing this seat for a customer of ours. I filled out the online quote request. I received the quote. through email, from a man named Shawn Dunaway. After I received the quote, I asked some questions about the seat and asked if i could get some pics as this is a used seat and I wanted to be sure this was a seat we would be interested in purchasing. This to me was nothing out of the ordinary, the seat is used so I wanted to confirm condition before I even quoted my customer and let him know he had an option of buying a used seat at a much lower cost. I spoke with my customer and he decided to go with the used seat. I explain that the seat was in very good condition and this would be a good choice. I contacted Shawn the next day to purchase the seat, I sent my billing information and asked if the seat would ship today. So far everything is good. Later in the day on Friday I received a call from I believe named Jeff, he had called to let me know that Shawn had left but that he was going to handle getting the seat shipped. I told him that was fine and asked if the seat would be leaving your facility that day, he said he was not sure that he had approximately 13 shipments ahead of mine and it may not go out until Monday because the company picking up the packages would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. I told him that was fine but if he could possibly get it out today that would be great but if not that is OK. He was very nice and respectful. Like I said I think his name was Jeff. Moving on to the next week I get an email on Tuesday, not Monday, from Shawn saying the seat is being prepared for shipment, he also sent another pic and I looked at the pic and the seat appeared to be wet, but I was not sure if this was just water or something else so I emailed Shawn back and asked him what was on the seat, but apparently Shawn is not OK with customers asking a questions about the products you sell . I also asked why it had not shipped because I was told the latest would be Monday, He emailed back saying he was cancelling my order due to a defect in the seat and said he had a new seat I could purchase. I emailed him several more times to ask what the defect was, a few hours later he emailed back and said that the shipping department said the seat was bent somewhere and he had another used seat I could purchase, I asked if he could send pics of the other seat he had found so I could see it he sent me pictures and I emailed back and told him it did not look as good as the previous seat but that I would go ahead and purchase the seat was if it was a little cheaper. he abruptly emailed back and said he cancelled my order and to find another vendor. I was very confused at this point as I am sure anyone would be. I do not feel as though I am out of line asking questions about something I may buy that is used. I think that this would definitely be what anyone would do, sometimes just pics alone do not do justice when it comes to seeing something. I emailed Shawn back several times and asked what was going on and why he was cancelling my order, I asked if a customer is not allowed to ask questions and he said of course they could and proceeded to say find another vendor again I asked why and what was the issue and he would not respond. I really have no idea at this point what I have done for him treat me the way he did. I was very confused about the whole situation. I decided to do a little research to try and see if I could find out who your general manager was so I could possibly still be able to order the seat, not knowing what Shawn's problem was and maybe I would be able to speak with someone that would not judge

I called Absolute Lift Parts after another salvage company referred me to them. The man I spoke with "Jeff" literally laughed at me when I did not have the complete model number of the equipment I was working on. I explained that I didn't see much else beyond the letters I gave him for the model but that I would double check and get back to him. After looking again at the model number which is worn and difficult to read, I found what looked to be a number 1. Again, "Jeff" laughed and said "That's not a 1 that's and "I." His behavior was completely unprofessional and rude. After I responded with "I apologize that I mistook an I for a 1, its not like it was an 8 that was easy to decipher, his attitude became more professional. In the business of sales and customer service I do not think it is a good idea to make your customers feel stupid.
