They need to be shut down or restaffed. They get a kick out of holding people money and never follow up when needed. Go to another location if you want your money managed correctly. This the only bank location I always have issues with. They should be a shame! I transferred my money to a completely different banking company because of the tactics they continued to pull. Do not trust the staff at this location. They should be investigated by the state.

I previously held both a personal and a business account with Synovus Bank. After a dispute with a customer service representative, I was contacted directly by Jose Lopez (branch manager), who informed me that fraud had been detected on my business account. He stated that, in order to prove my business activities were legitimate, I would need to obtain statements from all business owners I had worked with.
Mr. Lopez then claimed that the funds in my personal checking account would be used to cover a negative balance in my business account. However, he was unable to provide any documentation showing that my business account was actually overdrawn, nor could he prove that my personal funds were applied toward any such balance.
I have not been able to access my online banking, which further complicated the situation. I made repeated attempts to resolve this by visiting the Synovus branch and contacting customer service. Each time, I was told by Mr. Lopez directly that there was nothing the bank could do. I now believe that Mr. Lopez acted unethically and may have misappropriated my funds.
Now it’s time for me to go to the news outlet. Synovus Customer Service cannot located the funds that were in my account. They don’t even see where there were funds deposited into my account. Mr. Lopez abused the trust I placed in him as my personal banker. He led me to believe that my account was under investigation and that I could face arrest, which caused me unnecessary stress and fear. His actions were unethical and potentially criminal.
I respectfully request that this matter be taken seriously and addressed with urgency before he has the opportunity to harm another customer.

Poorly managed, no call backs, no procedure for receiving inheritance, customer service line defers to local branch and local branch doesn’t answer the phone nor call back. They moved our money from a higher interest into a .003% without notification so they obviously are poor money managers. We will be filing with the attorney generals office and federal reserve. Basically, they’re making money on our money for as long as they can.
