Nordstrom at Perimeter Mall is OK. I came here to shop for work clothes due to me getting a new job. I'm more of the casual dresser, but I'm not allowed to wear Levi jeans or polo shirts at work like I used to be able to do. I thought Nordstrom would be a great place to start. Ummm ... I should've gone with my initial thoughts when I walked toward the Men's Department that had the suits, dress pants, etc. My initial thoughts were: Is anything going to fit me? Am I going to find things in the price range I want to pay? Will someone be able to help me? Why does it seem like they don't have that much inventory on the floor? I'm on the short side, and I'm not thin, so I could tell by looking that I wasn't going to find anything straight off the rack here. And I was correct. Apparently, since I have a 29" inseam, I'm also supposed to have a 40"+ waist. With shirts, most of the nice ones were slim, and I'm definitely NOT slim/thin/skinny. Did I really need shirts, ties or pants that cost over $250? Definitely not. Oh, and when I asked an employee in the department for help with finding what I was looking for, I got the judgmental look, you know, the one when someone takes a quick glance up and down at you and looks at your face with a disapproving look? I actually returned "the look" back to him, said, "I changed my mind," and walked away from the department and Nordstrom. The overall quality of the men's clothing is pretty high, I have to admit, and the organization of the clothing and the displays are very eye appealing. The store was also clean and the aisles are very spacious compared with other similar retail stores.

My favorite stop is the Jo Malone counter. Tia or Ann are my go to consultants! I could spend all day in the fragrance area. We shop at Nordstrom's for the quality and customer service experience. When we need a little food break, we go upstairs to the restaurant. They also offer a great personal stylist service that's complimentary.

I had to return a All Saints tshirt that I ordered online that was wide but too short and had white stains on it. The tall female associate with black clothes on and gray sneakers on that I was escorted to afterwards for assistance in the men's department did not give eye contact and was so unfriendly. Train your employees to be kind and engaging. Her mood was so unnecessary.

I recently met with a stylist. The experience was negatively impacted by the volume of the music. The stylist said he wished he could change it but could not. Ridiculous!

I visited Nordstrom today at Perimeter mall in Dunwoody, GA. I went to the shoe department to look for shoes, I walked around and even sat and no one spoke to me until about 15 minutes and finally a young man spoke and asked if he could assist me. I believe his name was TJ. Thanks to this young man, I may return. Maybe. Note to Nordstrom, acknowledge your customers especially when you are just standing around.

Chaunie provided amazing service for my daughter today. We called, asked for an item in stock. She confirmed she had it, we arrived a few hours later, the entire transaction took less than 5 minutes. My kind of service and she should be recognized! Thank you Chaunie!

I had a pair of pants with a huge ink stain and they embroidered a heart on top of it and it looks very cute now! Thank you so much Nordstrom. David is great!

Sometimes it's when you go to another place and return home that you realize how great it is. I've been to Nordstrom stores in other states, and while they're ok, they don't compare to the ones in Atlanta. Really, this store has a big selection of items. Service is really really helpful and respectful. You feel like you're getting a good, relaxing shopping experience. Highly recommend this place!!

The customer service in this store is significant. I am from out of town and needed a few things because my trip got extended. The ladies lingerie section went above and beyond to find a few bras that fit really well. I am an odd size and good sizing has always been hard. They brought everything back and I tried on quite a few leaving with two and feeling like a million dollars. I checked out the kids section and witnessed another employee taking the time to talk through some kids outfits with (probable) grandparents. What's in style and what that age group has been buying. I was not impressed with the shoe sales lady I walked up to. I wanted to know if they carried a certain boot. She hadn't heard of the brand, and didn't listen to me as I said the model name (classic versus original... same, same!... not the same). Thankfully, that was the first stop and the lingerie ladies made up for it.

The reviews here about racial profiling at this location are sadly true. I love Nordstrom, but I returned 2 designer items today to this woman who did NOT call a manger or question my items at all, HOWEVER when my African American friend returned a single designer item later on at customer service, this woman excessively examined the item (photo) and called a manager. When my friend asked why, this woman said "we ALWAYS call a manager for ALL designer items" - which is a LIE because my return was done by her without a manager present and my items were worth more! As an ally, this is unfair treatment and not okay by any means therefore I'm writing this for awareness. If you are a person of color, STAY AWAY from this location. This woman performed a discriminatory act and looked foolish when the manager completed the return with ease. Not sure if this behavior is just HER or "training" by Nordstrom to treat POCs unfairly, but either way she needs to be SPOKEN TO by management.

Racial profiling in the store around the glasses section woman asked me 4 times in 10 mins and manager followed me around like I was trying to steal. This place needs to be shut down asap.

This used to be my favorite store - easy to purchase & return, and the employees were friendly. However, be warned if you have to return items to this location, the staff is NOT happy and goes out of their way to make the process slow. Today I was in line with at least seven other people, with only one person working the return register. Meanwhile, other employees behind the returns desk were folding clothes, breaking down boxes, doing anything except helping actual customers. Is it really more important to get the recycling together when you've got a long line of customers standing right in front of you? I almost asked for a manager but a sweet cosmetics employee came over and took my return. Grateful for her!

I come here often to shop since I live near the mall. I like this store because its always pretty organized and calm. The only thing is the inventory seems lower than the other nearby department stores. I guess it helps keep the environment not so overwhelming but its a catch 22 because it can seem bare at times.

Top tier service! Alterations department took care of me and got a pair of pants ready the same day for a wedding that evening. Friendly staff and well put together store. 10/10 recommend
