Wal-Mart, 5025 WINTERS CHAPEL RD, Dunwoody“I'm a regular at this store, as I pass it daily when dropping my child off at school in Norcross. I can't believe the harsh reviews & I'm usually a very picky shopper. I'm a Trader Joe's, Costco, Kroger, Publix type shopper...but will easily spend 30% of my shopping at this Walmart Neighborhood location. Staff is fantastic. Prices are great. If you need a Roma tomato, this is the place to find it perfectly ripe. Need meats for your Charcuterie Board get them here at fraction of cost of other stores. Cereals are nearly a dollar cheaper. All their produce is good. I switched my prescriptions to this location for easy drive thru & no wait. They just updated computers at checkout. I avoid other WalMarts like the plague, but not this sweet neighborhood store. Going early in the am will get you quickly out the door. Can't say enough good things about this store & location.”
“I don't really have anything bad to say about this location. I like the location. It's near a lot of shopping and in a safe area. They are just a very busy location. If you go for the pharmacy just plan to work in a good amount of wait time. I think it just comes with the territory and nature of the business when it comes to the pharmacy unfortunately. I received my booster vaccine here and the pharmacist was really nice. The pharmacy staff was nice here also.”

Wal-Mart, 4725 Ashford Dunwoody Rd, Dunwoody“Every time I've come here to shop, I've gotten the impression that it's one of the busiest Walmarts in the area. Parking is always available because there's a large free parking lot that isn't really shared by the other nearby businesses because they have parking closer to their stores and restaurants. This store is large, and it has a lot of shelf spaces that are pretty well stocked with merchandise. I think prices at Walmart are generally lower than it's competitors, like Target; however, I've found some items here that are more expensive than the same items at the other Walmart I go to in Chamblee, which I think is odd.So this Walmart has the same things that just about all of the other Walmarts have. One thing that I noticed when I shopped here yesterday was that there were a whole lot more self check-out registers. I have actually have mixed feelings about self check-out registers. Most people are so slow using this technology, and it used to really bother me that there weren't enough of these types of registers at this location. Now, however the number of self checkout registers have been doubled since the beginning of the pandemic, which means that twice as many slow customers are using these registers. I think the self check-out lines now move faster, although not by much.Employees here are hit and miss when it comes to providing good customer service. Some go out of their way to help you while others seem to avoid eye contact and walk away from customers. Generally, this store has been clean.”
“I honestly don't understand why this Walmart Neighborhood Market has so many low ratings... It's much less overwhelming and smaller than a Walmart Supercenter and it's so easy to check out here. I think it's a perk that it's more of a self-service checkout because I'm sure many you have experienced the sloth speed of most cashiers at Walmart Supercenters if the cashiers are even willing to check out customers at all. The produce is great and I find it much easier to navigate the aisles here. I have come to this location on a Saturday afternoon and on a weekday afternoon and had no trouble with crowds or parking either time. It's really a great location for hassle-free grocery shopping. If you like Walmart prices but dislike the experience of crowds and having to walk what feels like a mile inside the traditional supercenters, this is the perfect grocery store for you.”
