We moved in at the beginning of September, and have had such a wonderful experience so far! Lots of time was spent taking tours of a variety of communities and I am very pleased with our decision to make The Columns at Lake Ridge our new home. Will and Jaden in the front office are always very helpful and responsive, and maintenance requests are handled very promptly. The grounds and amenities are very taken care of. The townhome floorplans are very unique and spacious. I highly recommend coming and seeing it for yourself if you are looking for a new place to live!

My neighbors are great and Iove the area I am in. As far as The Columns at Lake Ridge, I would make it my last resort in looking for somewhere to stay. The office is very nice, but that's about it. This is a one among the worst apartments, move in process is worst , you need to keep calling the leasing office and the response is poor even after providing all the details GAS connection was not tuned on in time , you need to spend your money to get the GAS connection in a proper state . Issues mentioned prior to moving in the house are never fixed. tickets are kept in pending state for months, No proper response, in automatic rent withdrawals you will be charged for higher amount , you need to visit the front office hours explaining them that you are charged higheryour tickets will be closed with no proper response.If you want to spend time only with leasing office every day move to the apartments .

Can't get anyone of the phone. Better off calling a robo call center. Menu after menu on the phones. Need to invest in a better phone system.

I hate it here with a passion. Between the over flowing trash I have look at and smell every morning when I get up and look out my window to the maintenance requests that are put in but NEVER done. The apartment is NOT worth the money!!! Roaches, ants, rats, NOISE, NOISE, NOISE. This is the second worst place I have ever stayed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!I have only been here 2 months!

Horrible no trash compactor and the trash always looks like this. There’s always rats and roaches!!! This is anti hygienic. This place should invest tenants money in a new compost this is disgusting

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE LIVING HERE IVE BEEN HERE TWO YEARS HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION ROACH INFESTED, THE trash compactor is always broken leaving rats and other critters to roam the neighborhood at night. LAZY MAINTENANCE STAFF. always trash and garbage. OLD PLUMBING SYSTEM. MOLD IN THE VENTS AND BATHROOMS ROACHES everywhere. I have filed numerous maintenance requests and even contacted corporate. They keep raising rent and not offering residents ANY UPGRADES these people get over on all their residents and you’re paying high rent and locked in a lease. They need to be investigated because if you lease an apartment based on your income what sense does it make to raise rent to surpass my income?? Their rental payment system is always down and it’s super inconvenient to pay rent my first apartment experience went from a good one to one from hell. Again this apartment complex needs to be INVESTIGATED and the entire staff should be revamped ever since Monica and mr humble have quit this place has gone down the drain. My rent went from 1392 to 1760 in two years. This is disgusting

Today, I found out Monica is leaving. I’ve been here for 7yrs and since she’s been here she has gone above and beyond for us. It’s very unfortunate that since Liz has gotten here we’ve lost such great staff. Humble maintenance manager and now Monica. The atmosphere of this entire complex has gotten so disappointing since Liz has come. I don’t know what we will do with Monica leaving

I wrote a review before on here about maintenance but the supervisor is gone now and things take longer to get fixed because the new maintance people keep quitting the new supervisor is good but he is only one person. And only thing that bothers me is when the property manager tells you that certain things aren’t a emergency when to me it is my outlet power isn’t working in all my restrooms and my master bathroom sink is clogged and leaking my ac filter needs changing my allergies are flaring up. The old maintenance supervisor would have took care of all this by now if he was still here. Monica is the only reason I haven’t called corporate yet she will allow me to get ready for work in the restroom at the leasing office so I won’t be so late for work. She is the only person who really listens to me and helps me! I love her outstanding customer service she is what’s keeping the tenants here because she’s the only one who replies back to emails. And she always try her best to help even if she couldn’t get it done she always talk nice to me from keeping me to get upset I wish she was over the property because she been here for years we trust her!! And she listens and responds. Like my wips account still isn’t working to pay rent but it’s out of her control corporate has to fix that. I just don’t understand why tenants are the problem when we complain about things that aren’t working? I miss Will he would never make me feel like this he was a great property manager.

This has been the worse move-in experience that I have ever had. Initially, Liz was very helpful and informative. She showed seems like a great person anx property manager. However, the model unit that I toured in-person and online looks does not compare to the roach infested nightmare that I moved into. The roaches fall from the entryway every morning. There were bathrooms that were not fully cleaned. There are holes around light switches. The upstairs bathroom had paint stains on the cabinetry. The staff worker Monica has been of no help. When, I told her about the roaches, she said that I had to wait for the weekly scheduled exterminator to come next Thursday. So, I actually purchased and treated the apartment with Home Ortho Defense. I can't fully unpack anything downstairs, due to fear of the roaches. Also, I tried to pay my rent online and the system did not complete the setup of my bank account, so now I'm being assessed a late fee - amongst all the other issues that I am experiencing. I am really regretting the decision to move into this nightmare apartment with an unwillingness to help staff. Me and my roommates had a hard time looking for an apartment with enough space for us, but luckily our needs were answered here. The whole process took only two days. The first day we came to tour and immediately fell for the place. With Monica’s help throughout each step we applied that day and was approved by the next.

Monica Hancock does an excellent job!! She works diligently, even through Friday and Saturday to make sure we have everything attended to that we need help with. She is also excellent in her response rate whenever we email her. Monica is easy to communicate with, friendly and helpful. Thank you for all the help that you provide Monica! We really appreciate it!

Me and my family just moved from Ohio to Georgia and house hunting and apartment search was a bit much. Monica, the leasing office manager, was AMAZING! She helped my mom secure a unit in one day! She is very professional, great energy and comforting hospitality! The unit my mom chose was clean and ready to move in the exact same day. I would recommend stopping by and asking for Monica or Liz for your next home!
