Our Haywood Family Gathering was held in Atlanta Georgia July 20-24 and it was amazing our Saturday was at Brook Run Park full of fun food a talent show even my 93 yo dad performed included in this post are pics but clearly not all of them our family is huge the restrooms was clean the shelter clean huge we played kick ball potatoe sack race of course dancing while the DJ played our favorites it was my sis and lil cousin birthday this day July 22nd we celebrated y'all I mean outright kicked it there's nothing like family living loving laughing together honoring those that was gone from us as well RIP I would have gave 5 stars but the parking was a little far for some of our seniors overall this park is absolutely beautiful well maintained thanks to my cousin Deron who hosted our Haywood Family Gathering 2023 Atlanta Georgia it was memorable ❤️??????Restrooms: Spacious CleanDog-friendliness: We saw many walking their dogs responsiblyPicnic area: Spacious Plenty of Tables Clean

Great park. Clean bathrooms. Two plus mile walk with small hills. Plenty of shade along the way. Dog park, baseball fields and a skate park! Playground for the kids with a small shallow stream to cool off in. My new park for sure.

Everything you need in a neighborhood park and More!!! Fun for all ages, toddler to elderly, and dogs included.Sports fans enjoy tournament baseball, soccer, skateboarding, skating, or bike riding. My 5 year old God daughter and I love this park, one of our favorites. Find Brook Run, and get there, before the Summer is over.

Absolutely, one of my favorite parks in the area!!! It is great for walking, running, and biking. My son and I love to bring the dogs here and hang out at the playground after a good jog. Also the buds and flowers are lovely this time of year.

Wonderfully kept grounds, decent amount of parking and accessible from the surrounding neighborhoods. It is a mixed use park with sports facilities, space for outdoor events, playgrounds and neighboring venues like the tree walk which makes it an even more effective public space.

Lemonades Day Festival 2023: I had a wonderful time letting my inner child run free while enjoying the Annual Lemonades Day Festival. A good selection of rides for the Kiddos u0026 various Vendors for food, drinks, home goods u0026 more. My highlight was seeing the children happily face painted u0026 skipping around. u0026 of course getting some cotton candy u0026 a funnel cake. Brook Run Park was transformed into the perfect carnival/fair grounds. I’ll be back next year.

The small dog side is so small, there is hardly any space for them to run! Also, my dog was not a fan of the gravel ground covering. We will be sticking to dog parks with grass or artificial turf.

Brook Run playground is one of our favorite parks/playgrounds in all of Atlanta!Very shaded, clean, playgrounds for all ages, open fields, picnic tables, bathrooms, and super kid friendly.

Very good and big park with lots of vegetation by the trail. You don’t feel much heat if you plan on a walk/run even on a summer noon. It gives a good work out for a single loop. People do walk, run, and kids do bike riding on the same path. On a weekend afternoon to evening not much crowed so it will be peaceful and not sure of the weekends. It has good parking spots across the park which is very convenient for different areas around. It has kids play area, skate area, tennis ground and a pavilion for private parties. During summer there will be some activities in the parking area too which is great.

This place is a haven. My family and I (dogs included) LOVE coming here to go on walks. The walking trail is amazing and a great blend of up and down (but never too up or too down) as well as a blend of in and out of the woods.The Playground is also great and loved by both my children! My wife and I love it because there is sun is sunshade over all of the playground equipment to equipment to protect the children from the sun or from the playground equipment being too hot.

Multiple trails where you can run /walk without any obstacles , many small playgrounds , skate park , soccer fields , amphitheater etc within the park .. And it is lovely lush green .. There are also social events like food truck , movie viewing conducted periodically
