Great experience overall. The walls of the rooms definitely need sound proofing though.Rooms: I was traveling alone for business and stayed here a total of 12 days on the 16th floor so some may find this review a bit more significant than others....just saying. So, Everything was great for the most part... I had an awesome view, the rooms were really nice and clean, all the appliances worked, the staff was very helpful and welcoming and the lobby was super nice and comfortable. Parking was although not the worst ive experienced. But if you're looking for a quiet, romantic getaway for you and your partner, I would recommend staying during the week rather than over the weekend and here's why..So I didn't know this at the time but apparently there is a banquet hall on the 16th floor directly across from my room and, lemme tell ya, the party didn't stop until 3am BOTH Friday and Saturday nights and since the walls of the rooms are PAPER THIN, there was no way of escaping the overwhelming loudness of it all...it was crazy loud... I mean it was like I was having a party in my own room loud...so yea... loud?So even though I was not bothered by it, I could see how some would be.. But I would MOST DEFINITELY stay here another 12days if ever given the chance to. Great place.

Staff was the best thing about the hotel. Friendly, attentive, helped us solve the air problem in our room.We stayed 5 nights. We made do but I will stay elsewhere in the future.Breakfast- was good with a variety of options. Fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, grits, oatmeal, juices, coffee.Room- left much to be desired. Stuffy with smell as soon as we walked in. Tried running AC but didn’t clear it. We asked front desk to change rooms and she said she would send someone up to check first. Luckily, the staff was able to fix something with the AC and the smell dissipated. Towel bar fell right off as soon as I put towel on it. Only 1 fork in the drawer so we shared.TV- so old school. Old remote, no guide. Had to flip from channel to channel like 15 years ago. No way to see what show you were watching. Would cut out sometimes.Parking- plenty of parking. Needs more luggage carts for the amount of rooms this hotel has.Facilities- needs a major redesign. The lobby is the nicest area. Unfortunately, all lights in the 3rd floor hallway are banged up from either the luggage cart or someone purposefully smashing them.Art Bar- great food. Large portions.Pool- technically in working condition but given the condition of the building/room surrounding the pool, it wasn’t enticing and I didn’t go in. No pool towels. When I asked for one at front desk she said they recommend guests use their room towels but offered me an extra. Spackling all over walls near pool, broken chairs, random stuff placed near women’s bathroom that as soon as I tried to walk into bathroom, I turned around and left.Food & drinks: Breakfast options were varied and great.Art bar served huge food portions. We had the nachos. The mule was delicious. Great service at the bar.

The Sonesta hotel is a familiar location for the Atomy seminar, and we've grown accustomed to its services. We typically have consistent expectations when visiting. It would enhance the experience if hotel staff occasionally checked in with guests to ensure everything is satisfactory. However, during our recent visit, I didn't notice anyone stopping by to inquire about our satisfaction.

All the staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were clean. A bit dated but very clean. The biggest downfall to our stay was the pool area. There was poop in the floor and no towels. This was the only area that was disgusting. To my understanding they will be renovated soon and turned into a Hyatt. My biggest complaint is ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AHOLD OF THE FRONT DESK. I’ve been trying to call them several times with no answer. It’s been like that for several days.

This was a short stay: arrived around 3:30am after driving 6hrs.Upon arrival the staff on duty was supper friendly, I liked her genuine spirit and was actually hoping she was going be on duty at our 7:45am check out, just to say Thank you again for being so nice.Entering the room, pulled the covers back to inspect the beds as always, there was hair in the covers. The bathroom wall had bug residue onRooms: Not clean as I expected based off previous reviews.

The situation I encountered involved a transaction issue between a third-party booking website and the hotel, which was beyond my control. On the second day of my stay, I was unexpectedly disturbed by an anonymous individual knocking vigorously on my door, which was quite alarming. the individual instructed me to visit the front desk. Concerned, I attempted to contact the receptionist multiple times, making over four calls, to understand the situation, but unfortunately, received no response. When I approached the front desk, I interacted with a receptionist named Mo. I reported that my card key was malfunctioning and handed it to her at 6 PM, expecting a resolution. She assured me that she would address the issue. However, upon my return to the hotel around 9:10 PM, the problem remained unresolved, and it appeared that no action had been taken to rectify the transaction issue or to provide me with a new key.I explained to Mo that the ongoing issue was not my fault and that it should have been resolved by now, but her response lacked understanding and urgency. I then requested the manager's business card, which she provided, though it seemed clear that escalating the matter might not influence her approach to customer service. Consequently, I decided to leave a review and communicate this issue to the hotel's corporate headquarters. In an effort to resolve the situation myself, I directly contacted the third-party company, which was not my responsibility. Mo had ample time, over three to four hours, to address the issue, yet failed to do so. Finally, thanks to the third-party company's intervention, I was able to access my room at 10:45 PM. It is evident that the hotel employs staff to offer convenient service to guests, but in this instance, it seems that the basic duties of customer service were not understood or fulfilled.Mo's attitude was unprofessional, and she was not receptive when I tried to explain the situation. Normally, such service would be frustrating, but it also highlighted a broader issue with the current labor market and the qualifications required for customer service positions. This experience has prompted me to reflect on the impact of inflation and job market conditions on service quality. I am even considering making a donation to the hotel for the implementation of a kiosk system to minimize reliance on staff who may not meet the job's requirements. At least a kiosk can do its job correctly, unlike some individuals, and it won't waste people's time like Mo did.A representative from the third-party company on the phone call told me one of the front desk staff would apologize to me for the inconvenience after they fixed the issue, but the front desk manager just explained the issue between the hotel and the company but didn't apologize to me with a single word. Perhaps it's because of my skin color, and they don't want to be polite to me or treat me as their customer. But that's how they worked, and I hope they receive the same treatment somewhere in the future and realize how unprofessional they were.

Would never stay there again. Stayed there in 2022 for a clown convention. Left my solar charger on the window sill, called within 30 minutes of leaving the hotel. The staff person I spoke to said that my room had not been occupied yet since my departure so she would personally go check the window seal. But of course the cleaning crew had already been in there and it was gone. I called housekeeping several times, left messages. No one showed the courtesy of a return call. Never again.

I had a fantastic stay at Sonesta. Nothing to complain at all. Service is good. Gym and pool is great. Parking is free. The address in Google takes to the entrance which is closed. The open entrance is around the building, it can be tricky at times.
