Load stereo blaring til after midnight. Room was clean-ish. Pillows were sad. Breakfast was minimal at best. Only ice machine currently working is on 3rd floor.

Decent place to stay. Cleaning is ok but not everyday! Towels changed daily cleaning room not so much. Breakfast bar very starch loaded and beverages watered down.Safety: Seems to be a safe area night and dayWalkability: Can walk to many stores and restaurants.

The rooms are dirty, floors haven't been cleaned in so long that the bottom of my socks turned black. I witnessed three drug transactions, they don't even try to hide ( no it wasn't Marijuana ) the exchange of money for drugs. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

They came in clutch for us. I had a job interview the next morning and drove 1 1/2 hrs to find the room I reserved had no one to check us in after 11pm. I could not get to Duluth before I did or believe me, I would have. Anyway, the front desk gentleman, Andrew, was helping a lady as I waited. He took his time, carefully accommodating her needs and in general being pleasantly friendly. I waited for about 5 mins total. Excellent. He then took care of my needs in the same careful pleasant way, apologizing for making me wait. Again, no problem for me. He made sure to tell me everything I needed to know and told me have a good night. We got to our room, it was spacious, clean, a little well worn but the bed.... The bed was heaven. They use a slightly floral detergent on the sheets. Very subtle! But to say I was one with that bed is to say too little. I slept so well! I woke to find a breakfast of waffles and good strong coffee. I will always remember when in the area, the good service and the damn good price here. Thank you Andrew for a very pleasant stay. I will be back. And as for the other hotel(extended stay America) they tried to take the money for the night when no one was there to check us in, kick rocks. This is how you take care of and gain repeat guests!Rooms: Clean and spacious. Everything worked!

First room I went to had bugs on the bed, blood stains on the sheets, beds are hard and all you feel is springs. Old old beds. They transferred me to another room that the ac didn't work, so I brought my own fan. Most uncomfortable place I've stayed At and I stay at hotels 5 to 6 times a week for work.Whenever I think I've had a bad experience, I seem to have another that is just as bad , if not, worse. Then when I checked out, hotel staff called me saying they were missing there blankets and towels. I piled up everything for house keeping to just grab and replace, to make it easier for them. She told me that I was responsible for whatever is in the room. Why, why would I take anything from this hotel. I always wanted stained sheets and old towels. STAY AWAYI made the mistake of not reading the reviews, must read before picking this this place.

The breakfast bar didn't have as much as other hotels. Service itself wasn't bad. The rooms were averge. They also tacked extra fees on after we had already reserved a spot for an animal.

I have had better rooms. My room had a humidity problem. It is Hot Lanta. Ha ha. But yeah learned quickly keep temp set to 69 or you will have rain in the room floor bed my clothes everything was wet. Didn't complain just adjusted. It was affordable and in the center of everywhere we needed to go close enough to enjoy everything pool nice. Breakfast nice room service kind. Great trip. Liked this choice arranged via AARP/Expedia travel.

I come to this area a couple times a month and have stayed at different hotels that were quite disappointing. This one however was way beyond my expectations (especially for the price.) Staff was friendly, pool was nice, breakfast was more than what most motels offer and the room was very clean. My only downfall is the lack of parking for vehicles with trailers. I lucked out this time that there was room, but can't guarantee that in the future and I always have a trailer with me. This will definitely be my first pick of hotels when I'm in the area (if they have the room for my trailer at the time.)

I recently booked a seven night stay at this hotel. Both the housekeeping staff and management staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean and the continental breakfast is what it is. Should implement a weekly/bi-weekly mop on the floors though. Close to everything including the interstate. Beat bagng for your buck in the area! NO ROACHES

Place is infested with roaches. DO NOT BOOK. DISGUSTING. Manager refused to give a refund. The hallways reek of smoke despite the no smoking signs.

EXTREMELY MISLEAD from reviews on multiple sites. Stayed here for 3 nights. Researched hotels extensively and this one come up as 4 stars and was reasonably priced through AARP. This hotel should be rated as a 2 star hotel.Upon arrival we were immediately met with the stench of mold and cigarette smoke even though room requested was NON SMOKING and there were signs in the room stating "non-smoking room". I always bring cleaning supplies with me and emptied a whole can of Lysol into the room with no improvement. I ended up buying another can while I was there to help with the stench. I can't even begin to verbalize how disgusted I was my entire stay here. I have stayed in 2-star hotels that put this hotel to shame. We woke up each morning coughing due to the mold in the environment. The bathroom floor had water seeping out of the floor planks where I am assuming the floor had been flooded and not properly de-humidified (there are no vents to pull air out of the bathroom as well). The carpet was very sticky, which I do not even want to think about the cause of this. The ceiling was peeling in the bathroom, there was urine on the front of the toilet which was very obviously not cleaned, and there was mold on the shower curtain. It is VERY evident that the bare minimum cleaning is done, even though their website states that their rooms are cleaned to COVID standards, this is not the case AT ALL. I had to use laundry sanitizer on my clothing and disinfectant on my items that couldn't be laundered to get the smell out of them. I was even forced to pay a $50.00 deposit for reasons that were not explained to me, I had to research extensively on the internet for this. The deposit was returned 4 business days after the charge. There were police in the parking lot of the hotel for most of the night on the Sunday night we stayed here. For the price that I paid I expected MUCH better quality than what I received. AVOID THIS HOTEL.

I frequent this hotel a lot due to business travel and the reasonable prices but Ive been telling them that the ice machine was due for a cleaning. Im sure its been about a month since then and the ice is worst! Even when they told me they would get it serviced. You can see black stuff frozen into the ice. Completely disgusting. Ive even called choice to complain about this but they obviously dont care..

I would give this place a no stars if I could. 1st I'm charged a $50 deposit and I paid with a credit card??? Then the room was mildewed filled! The floor was actually damp. It felt really icky. The smell bothered me all night. But we were so tired from our trip we just went to sleep. the towels had other people's hair stich to them. That's nasty. If this is what Choice hotels have to offer, then I'll never rent another of their properties.
